Video Description

In this video I explain an effective strategy to exploit the loose passive players common at the low stakes sng's. There are seven 9 player sng's in this video and I get into three heads up matches. So you will see how to crush the low stakes sit n go's from begaining to end. I also review pokertracker 3 stats and show you some of the valuable information that can be gathered from it.

So I purchased the video, I like the patience. I watched it and then finished second in a 18 person 3.40 SNg on poker stars. Heads up was a bit tricky bc I pushed with a J 7 small blind although I was down about 4 to 1 in chips. I'm happy though, thank you and my account balance is currently at 88 bucks. gotta do WORK!

jr291786, nice result in the 18 man. Gook luck building your roll.

hey question, are you in any rake back deals? i looked at a chart and saw i gave like 80 bucks in rake..any suggestions? thank you

jr291786, I use thisisthenuts.com for rakeback. They are one of the larger sites and they have rake races and free roll tournaments every month. If you are playing on poker stars they don't have rakeback. They give fpp's instead. If you play on fulltilt the standard is 27% rakeback. So on your $80 rake you would get $21.60 back for the month. If you decide to use this site, please enter me as the one who referred you since I told you about it. My referral code is 4931. Thanks

.im up to $176. i actually started working at my job so i have been playing alot less. but taking down 3.40 18 mans when i do play..4 straight payouts!

Nice job jr291786, you must be playing very well.

hi PimpinDonks, i just started playing poker recently, and was recommended to this site by a friend, your video really caught my eye, because every other one was really big stake. i have only seen the preview as i dont have credits. but i just wanna say im glad some1 is making video for us beginners!

wish these video were a bit cheaper so i can watch it, $15 for one seems a bit much.

keep up the good work!

Thanks arnoldma, when I started playing I spent about $400 on poker books. Poker videos were not very big back then. Obviously my return on investment of that $400 has been huge. You have to spend money to make money and the knowledge I share in these videos is worth every penny.

thanks pimpindonks, you have convinced me Smile it snot unlocked, one more question, is it possible to download videos once its unlocked? thanks.

arnoldma, I am not sure that is a question for the support department.

Hi PimpinDonks,
Im a brasilian and my credit card is not accepted by anywhere out of Brasil.
I want know if have anyway to transfer founds to you on Full Tilt to buy credits...

You can use Paypal also. I cannot do transfers for credits.

I Buy the credits....now im going to watch... Smile Big

Pimpindonks,

Thanks for this video. A newbie's question about rakebacks ; I've a FullTilt account - I grew my bankroll from $600 to $4000 - do I need to empty my current account and create another account to benefit from rakeback offers (i've read your post about thisisthenuts.com) ? Thanks in advance for your answer.

manzlem67, you can try emailing fulltilt to see if they can offer you rakeback on your current account. If not you may have to start another.

Pimpindonks, thanks; in fact thisisthenuts.com offers to contact Fulltilt on your behalf and try to get them offer rakeback. So I registered (and gave your referral code (4931)).

Thanks manzlem67 I appreciate that. Do they need me to do anything?

Thanks for another great vid Pimp!

Not to be a prude or anything, just a minor note to hand odds.. when you have A3o vs K7s where suits aren't covered, it's actually a 45% vs 55% split there. Compare that to K7s vs 66 where it's a 46% vs 53%. Both situations are near coin flips. However if you matched K7o to A3o that'll be a near perfect 60%/40%. I guess it sort of proves the obvious that a suited hand > unsuited hand, especially in a headsup hand confrontation. Just a thought.

Yeah, having the suited hand adds a few percentage points to your equity.

Deeply impressed by your video, PimpinDonks. Questions: how much do you recommend HUD? Is it a must for multi-tabling? I have been Sharkscoping 4 1-tables per session. If you had been sharkscoping, what kind of things did you look for in it? Would greatly appreciate your comments. Thanks!

pokerofwind,

Yeah, I think a HUD will help you make more exact decisions. If I were sharkscoping for sngs to play I would look for the sngs with the most fish in them.

Great video. What in your opinion is a good in the money percentage (ITM)? Also, at the beginning of the video you mentioned that at these low buy-in levels you wouldn't be bluffing as much as normal and would simply be attempting to get maximum value from your good hands. However, you were quite aggressive in the middle stages in terms of raising from early position... also in terms of re-raising when someone raised in late position (you had 99 in the small blind and were raised by the button and then you went all in). Your play did not appear that much different than at the higher buy in levels -- I noticed some adjustment, but not as much as I expected (for example, you didn't fear being 3-bet as much at this level and as a result raised with 33 in late position instead of going all in as you would have in a higher buy-in game). Also, are you available for lessons over the phone?

Thanks again for the excellent videos and analysis.

To be honest I don't pay much attention to itm %. The most important stat for me in these games is ROI. I used to do coaching for $150/hr but have been focused more on playing lately. Everyone has a price though and if you make me an offer I can't refuse we may be able to work something out. If you want to do that email me at PimpinDonks@gmail.com

I noticed that you play primarily on Full Tilt but little on Stars. Isn't there more fish on Stars? The $10 SNG level feels much softer in my limited experience.

PS: very balsy move on the bubble of the 40k yesterday Smile

IDK MAN seems like youre just lucky bc 9 out of every 10 tourneys i play online i lose to 2 outers or less. how do you prep for that?

inktrocity FTP is a million times fishier than Stars!!

inktrocity, each site has its advantages for different types of games. I mainly play mtt sngs and fulltilts structure for those is better than stars turbo structure. That is why I mainly play on fulltilt.

birdyman, you need to take a long term view of poker. If you get it allin with your opponent only having 2 outs, you will do well over the long term. Also, if only 10% of the field gets paid, the best players in the world will only cash about 15-20% of the time.

Then one thing I took away from this vid is that I am a good solid player. I would have played every hand the same as yourself except for two. I was hoping you would clarify both of these for me.

The first occured at around 25mins (Top right table, the hand you went out). you pushed all in with A4s on the cutoff. I would have left the hand. My reason is, at this level of play I would expect to get called with any A or any pair. Players at this level tend not to leave those kinds of hands at that blind level (If I had good stats on the players I may have pushed, but no stats, low buy-in, I let it go). On the button or small blind I push, only 1 or 2 players to get through. Could you let me know if this was a marginal decision, or was it an easy choice for you?

The other occured at around 28 mins (Top left table, you on button). you raised to T600 on the button with K6s. I would have pushed. My reason is that SB has T1580 and BB has T710, if either push back your commited to call so why not just push.

I think that this vid was below my skill level, I sometimes question my abilities so it was a well needed boost to my ego watching you play almost identical to me at this level and speed.

With the A4s it is a marginal push but I think over the long run it will show a slight profit. It is mostly due to the fold equity with only 3 players to get through. It wouldn't be a big deal if you fold in these spots. It would lower your variance to fold also. I like to pick up any equity I can though even if it means more variance.

Pushing with the K6s hand is a fine play. I just raised small to make it look stronger and try and get the short stacks to fold weak hands because I don't really want to go to showdown with K6s.

No matter what your video i watch. After watching i always feel stronger player. Thanks a lot. This is great video again!
