PimpinDonks #6 6 Tabling Multi-Table SNG's
Video Description
In this video I get into some tough spots and face some difficult decisions. I play 6 tables for you and make 4 final tables. You will get to see early, middle and late stage play all in this video.

Iamallin - This video is 1 hour and 20 minutes long (of coaching goodness), so it's going to be twice the file size of many of our other videos. I also told Mark to improve the quality a bit so the whole video is crisp and clear when you watch it in full screen.
I noticed early in the tournys that your making "isolation" bets over limpers with pocket eights. It's been my experience that many weak players at the lower limits will call anything short of an all-in after they limp at this stage in the game. I usually limp with pairs all the way 22s to JJs and play it for a set and stack-off or get out. I also use this strategy in a MTT. Obviously at a later stage in the game I play these hands much different, even shoving when Broomcorn (blinds) comes knocking at the door. I feel like if I make the isolation bet and miss the set and my c-bet is called with overcards, I'd be wasting too many precious chips too early in the tourny. Like you say in your videos, many players are willing to go broke with middle pair. Is this too weak of a play? Should I make the isolation bet and see what happens? I appreciate any feedback. P.S. If you happen to see me at the lower limits, try not to pimp me for the donkey I am. ha!
i sea you raise hands like A-10, A-9 and low pocket pairs from midle position, and then someone pushes all in with like 10 or 11 big blinds, and you have like over 20 big blinds. do you always call them ? because i think they to often have you dominated in this situations.
hey pimpindonks,
@ the final table where u had quads and a boat, u say u dont like the play of the guy 3betting his 9s 5-handed against your AKs because he riskes nearly 20k, but if u fold he would become nearly 5k chips, and u would only call AK, perhaps AQs and 10s up, but raise much more hands in this situation.
dont u think this shove is +EV??
what would u do in his situation??
Hi pimpinDonks I was watching your video and I saw that you had the statistics of all the other players at your table as far as what percent of hands they play and other things like that. I was wondering how you got that information and if there was any way that I could get it. Thanks for your help.
hello,
nice video pimpindonks. just have a couple of questions. I jus recently purchased the sharkscope hud but i have yet to even place in 1 of these using it, im making calls that i normally would not based on there stats and keep getting beat. I was wondering if the pt3 would be a better option or if i should just keep on playin without tracking software. I have really good stats without any kind of tracking software, but im always looking to improve. just wanted your opinion.
thanks,
dwh1969
I definitely like the sharkscope HUD, but you do have to be careful with it, because even the biggest donkeys in the world get hands, i find myself calling off to light often and if i worked it out might actually do better without sharkscope in the 45's, not that its not useful just that im not using it as well as i could. I do find it very helpful for deep stacked large field turnys, as the fish will go broke so often with AQ AJ allin pre 100 bb deep and or call shoves on late streets with only top pair, basically i use those numbers to see if i will value bet (vs good players ) or overbet/shove a bad palyer because so many of the -20 roi players will stack off light. I guess the same applies to 45's i guess there are just more bad players early in later deep stacked turnys. Also make sure you set up your filters correctly for the game type u play, sometimes a donkey becomes a shark when you apply appropriate filters in the HUD software.
tombballgolf if you want stats similar to pimpindonks you can try/buy pokertracker or holdemmanager those are the popular programs used by the pros, i think there is a free HUD, but i never used it so i dont know if it still works or how good it is.
First off, loved the videos. This was definitely why I purchased my credits tonight.
My only question revolves around the fact (perhaps erroneous) that there were a lot of spots where I believe you could've shoved and it would have been + CEV, yet you opted for more cautious routes. Ie. Not shoving Kx hands from the sb with more than ten big blinds, folding some ax hands in the co ~10 bbs. Do you believe that your tournament life is worth more than pure shove calculations might indicate?
I would also love a little more commentary on why you 3x'd 88 with ten big blinds instead of shoving it. That's the sort of play that just never occurs to me and I'd love to be able to add a tool like that to my arsenal.
Hey pimpn, maybe u can tell me what u do in this spot, they seem to come up all the time and i usually get it in here and did this time but man it seems like i get burned every time. Should i be flatting, shipping with my fold eq, or playing it safe flat and check folding so i can cash? I guess i just want to do whats most profitible even if its higher variance.

Thanks for the video. Why do you play turbo games rather than the normal games? On some videos you mention that the normal speed games involve more skill. Does the higher number of games played per hour with turbo at a lower edge make up for the greater edge with slower games?

Mark,
I just wanted your opinion on a play I made to see if it was the correct play. The blinds are at 60/120 in a single table 9 man turbo. It folds around to me and I'm one right of the button. I'm sitting with 1,320 in chips and have king jack of hearts. The three players to follow all have approximately the same, give or take a little. I shoved all in and bb calls with aces. I know I got unlucky and ran into aces, but is shoving the king jack suited there the right play with the number of chips I have compared to the blinds? Thanks!

TY for nice video)) 1 quastion why this video very big very long download ))
