Donk Betting
Video Description
Donk betting is not used enough by most good players. Let me help you improve this aspect of your game. Hi Mark, I've enjoyed all of your videos. I have a question about playing draws out of position. Suppose I am on BB early in tournament with JTs and call a raise from the button. The flop comes Q67 with two cards my suit. I'm assuming this may be an appropriate spot for a donk bet of about ¾th pot. Would this be right? Now say I donk and get flat called and turn is a blank. Do I now check and give up to a large turn bet?

Once again, thanks for the vid, Pimp. Quick question:
At the 25 min mark, 5 handed, you raise with ATs out of the UTG spot. Even though you had ~12BB was your thinking not to shove there as there wouldn't be much of a fold equity against the deep stack in the BB? Or were you trying to play off the fact that the opponent was somewhat loose with a tendency to fold often to a cbet on the flop?
Conversely, would you sometimes just shove preflop in similar spot?
Thanks!

So...at about 15:30 your Ks get snapped. Been there. One general rule of thumb I have heard is that if you can increase your stack size by 20% or better when you think a shove will take the pot then it is a good way to handle it. Your thoughts?
PimpinDonks does it again!
PimpinDonks does it again! This video covers every imaginable donk bet situation, and also how to counter them. Well done.
minute 10, I kinda like that stop and go. I am basically shoving there all the time preflop... thinking that I probably have the most fold equity there. But when you called, you still have fold equity on the flop, or the ability to check if it's a scary board. Is this the optimal way to play the hand in your eyes? Or it's good to have a mix of both?
minute 17, I had a quick question about your odds to hit your set with the 88. In one of your older videos I recall you saying that it's good to have at least 10x, but more like 20x for set mining. It seems like you have just under 10x (unless my math is wrong, completely possible). Should I be making this call preflop, am I leaving money on the table?
I really like the way you ended this video. Great ending. You make a play that's profitable in the long run, but run into some idiot defending his blind with garbage, and he beats you. Seems like you always run so well on your examples, it's refreshing to see these once and a while. Excellent video for only 1 credit.

Donk betting that hand is
Donk betting that hand is fine. I would use check calling and check raising from time to time also. Mostly, I would check call in that spot.
After donk betting I think it is best to fire the turn again for about 1/2 pot. You can get hands like A7, A6, 88, 99... to fold. It depends on the opponent though if it is a calling station then I would check and give up to a large bet.
