Video Description

This video explains how to adjust to your opponents 3 bets and fight back against them the most profitable way. This video also details the 3 betting strategy I use to crush sngs! I go over many key hand examples of my 3 betting strategy!

Very nice video. I must say I was surprised how much of a difference there was in your 3bet % early on compared to later in the tourney. I try to 3bet players with a high steal % late, but probably not as much as I should. Thanks for the advice PD.

Thanks Goat I'm glad it helped you!

would it not be a good idea to have a test at the end of every video. or one test every week or month. the prize could be entry to a freeroll as you did for your students. you could have prize money that would be pro-rata, the more videos purchased the more quistions we would get correct, the more money you make on sales, the better the prize.

Its a pretty good idea. I just make the videos though and have no part in running this site. Maybe you could email your idea to the support staff for sharkscopers.com

I think it would be a good idea to get a topic in the video series on use of HEM or PT to cover statistics meaning, how to use them in general, and which ones make the most sense. Obviously the idea is to get enough info without overload.

So, in general, how would you rate the top 6-8 statistics to have on your HUD?

I have "M" on mine for some MTT but it looks like "M" numbers on SNGs is really not as important as shear stack to blind ratios.

Edited after a little more checking...

OK, I also got off my butt and took a look at your HUD in a couple videos. It looks like:

hand#/VPIP/Pre flop raise
3 bet/attempted steals/fold to steal
cbet/fold to cbet

The one item that I might have expected to see was fold to 3 bet. Any general thoughts?

On the guide of topics for my new video series software is a topic I plan on making a video for. I will cover stats in that video. I use fold to 3 bet in cash games because we are deeper stacked but in sngs I don't think it would come up much. It could be useful once in a while but the same is true for a lot of other stats and unfortunately there isn't enough room on the hud for all stats.

In the Spot with the Set Js (16min) why u didnt donk here regarding to the last video it would be a good spot because either the 3better has astrong range or the overcaller may have hit also good.

I would lead with a bet there some of the time. I think it is a good spot for that. This time I choose to check raise it. One of the advantages to check raising is that if your opponent has nothing at least you get a cbet out of them.

Hi there,

I have just started watching your videos today and am finding them very interesting.

Just one quick question, what is your thinking behind betting strange amounts? i.e. I saw you raise to stupid amounts like 246 or 399, this kind of thing.

Could you explain the reasons for doing this?

Ive always associated it with idiots trying to be clever, or is that why you do it? To create that effect?

Would appreciate your thoughts,

Cheers,

Paul

I was using table ninja to prefill my bet amounts to a predetermined bet size (2.2x BB, for example). That is the reason I had some strange bet sizes.

I don't read too much into strange bet sizes. I just use the percentage of the pot he is betting to make decisions.
