My name is keith, im 25 and from a town in the north of england called Doncaster. Back in 2007 i set off travelling around the world and have been on the go ever since. I had been playing poker as a hobby since i was 18. Late 2008, i was in sydney down to my last couple of hundred dollars and in desperate need of a job. As i sat in an internet cafe looking for a job, i decided to deposit $33 and play an mtt. There werent many runners, maybe 200 or so. I some how luck boxed a 2nd for just short of $1000. 4 days later i played another $33. This time there were 600-700 runners and i managed to finish 4th for roughly $1900. I withdrew $900 to cover some bills and left $2000 on as a bankroll for $22 sngs. I studied the game, through books and forums and gradually built up enough of a roll, to play them full time and make enough to fund things like flight, hostels, food and beer. Currently in New Zealand with my girlfriend, trying to grind enough tables to save up for a deposit on a house for when i go back to the UK.
