About Fossilkid93

I've been playing poker for about 5 years now. I was enrolled in college at the time when poker pretty much took over my life and eventually I lost all desire to attend classes and keep up with school and dropped out to focus on poker. It has been a very rocky road since then, but I feel like the life lessons I've learned from poker (emotional control, dealing with massive losses, making logical decisions, reading people, etc.) will serve me better in life than any undergrad. degree will.

I wouldn't trade the freedom of playing when I want, going on a vacation with the friends at the drop of a hat, and being my own boss for any office job even if you doubled my pay. My current plans with poker are to hit Supernova Elite on PokerStars and also branch out a little bit more into live poker tournaments across the world, particularly those in the LAPT, EPT, and APPT.

It kinda goes without saying that when it's your own money on the line, that the goal is to stay 100% focused while playing what you believe to be your optimal strategy.

As far as...

Don't worry about the $1.5k downswing, I've probably had about 4 or 5 of those at $52s.

I usually play anywhere from 25-40 tables at once depending on how I feel at the time and how soft...

The most obvious difference between the 52s and the 104s is the number of regulars I see when the tournament starts. Usually I just put a quick note on someone when I've seen them in a ton of...

Yah, they really are pretty crazy man. For some reason a lot of the "regs" love to call way too light which makes these things one huge variance fest.
