About cardinal23

I have supported myself on 2-3 hours of poker a day for 6 years. I have done this by grinding 6-8 9 man $50-$200 SnG's at a time. It's definitely the hardest way in the world to make an easy living, but my former life as a stock trader taught me how to deal with the swings. Stock trading and poker are EXACTLY the same thing. It's all about playing the probabilities, reading your competitors, getting your money on the line when you have the edge, pouncing when you sense fear, and MOST importantly, having the ability to take a very large loss and make your next decision as if it never happened.

In my "real life," I'm a writer in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. But that's not nearly as interesting as the poker stuff right?

I just started making instructional poker videos. Feel free to give me feedback on them and tell me what you'd like to see from me in the future!

Seriously? You snap call and don't think twice about it.

Easy call. You know EXACTLY what he's trying to do (play off your fear that you don't want to bubble). And you are right to not play for 3rd. Call it in a heartbeat and hope it holds.
