Do you turn everything off and have slence...or do you wach tv...listen to the radio...ipod? What do you think is best?
I used to listen to iTunes radio, but switched to the MusicChoice stations on my cable box in order to save all my CPU's resources for multitabling. I tried listening to podcasts, but it was either too distracting or I just wouldn't pay any attention to 'em.
I try to listen to weei sports talk but im sure its not helping my game...Perhaps i will just listen to music on my blackberry.
just music
tv isnt a good idea
how said before
distract u
Back in the days I used to watch TV, have msn on, surf the net and still play a couple of tables. Now I try to avoid anything distracting.
I usually listen to music though. Advice: change music (or turn it off) if you're not doing well at the tables.
I listen to music but found it best to keep it not too heavy.
I get carried away and start play'n like a clown.
I would suggest for an old codger like myself a bit of Sigur Ross,Mercury Rev or The Flaming Lips.
Lay off Queens Of The Stone Age,The White Stripes and Rammstein definitely super tilt material.

I took the tv out of my room so that can't distract me. I have an i home and just listen to music the whole time, if i'm not in much i'll look at stuff on the internet too but i would say that doesn't help my game any, it has to hurt it a little. the less distractions the better and i would say that music isn't a distraction for most.
