You're heads-up, the blinds are 500/1000, and you're pretty evenly stacked...what's your line? Are you shoving? and if so what's your range?
And obviously, this is a STT so with 13.5k chips in play you're both hovering around 6-7bb.
I just wanted to get some feedback. As for myself, I'm usually shoving a wide range of hands here: any A, K9o+, any suited K, any 2 broadway cards, 22+, and some medium connectors. I'm wondering if this is too tight, and if my range should be close to 100%.
With 6-7BB i would definately add Q7+ and J7+, as well as Q5s+.
If I get down to 5Bb I shove ATC for sure. You must preserve Fold-Eq In my opinion..
im shoving ATC against unknowns ppl that know me or seem to have an idea how to play ill fold some scummy hands but im still shoving like 80 - 90%
I'm shoving 100% here. Your stack is 6-7 BB what are you waiting for?? Every single time you fold you lose A LOT of chips. It's all a crapshoot at this point anyway.
It's funny when I am in this kind of HU situations and the opponent keeps folding his SB "waiting" for some good hand. Then when he's down to 3k chips decides to make a stand (cause I'm shoving all the time) calling with a medium hand (ie K8, Q9) only to be sucked out by my 42o or dominated by my KQ, QJ or whatever I happen to have that time.
Yeah sometimes you will lose when playing like this. But it doesn't make it a bad play. As I said - it's all a crapshoot anyway.
For the guy with the minraise. Minraise then what? Think about folding to a shove?? You're giving away tons of chips for him to gamble with them against you. It's just silly. Yeah I might limp/min raise a strong hand (AA, KK whatever) to induce a shove but not to fold.
at 6.5BB i'm pushing any PP,Ax,Kx,Qx,T2s,94s,84s,74s,64s,54s,J6o,T7o,97o,86o, and 76o. if the villian is calling tight i'll loosen up and maybe shove ATC. If there calling loose I may tighten up a little bit.

for players that aren't that great at heads up play go to this website and follow this chart. it is extremely useful when you have 10 big blinds and less.
that few BB 106 suited any A K Q J or 2 cards over 9. Any suited connectors, hard to devote time to heads up when playing 12 tables.
you definitely need to find the time though because the difference between 1st and 2nd is the biggest difference in any sng. this is where the better sng players will prevail.
ive read shoving 106 suited plus is optimal HU strategy when there is no room for limping/min raising which at 7 BB there isnt. If my opponent is a massive nit ill see flops but otherwise its shove shove shove. Most of the time u get such a dominant u can call them off with almost anything and end up in a 60/40 which 40% of the time ill win. other times were probably back even

I think your range is just about right. You have to take into consideration the opponents range, too but you should be pretty well off sticking with those starters against anybody. I dont really like to shove alot in HU unless I'm shortstacked. A min raise at those levels will get folds from anybody that doesnt want to play their cards and if they shove you can assess your hand and decide from there.
