We're currently working hard on the new version of the SharkScope website which will contain a whole host of cool new features. One of the things we will be updating is the way players are classed as Sharks and Fish.
The current Shark & Fish parameters we have were devised over 5 years ago and are now pretty out of date, and its now hard to get a Shark icon over a decent number of games as those ROIs simply aren't possible anymore in the modern game.
The new system will allow a much more flexible set of classes and lets users define their own. But for the defaults we're looking suggestions on what people would like to see used to determine these classes.
Overall, what % of players would you like to see classed as Sharks and what % as Fish?
The statistics that can be used to determine an actual class are:
Number of Games Played (must be >=100)
Average Profit
Average Stake
Total Profit
Average ROI
Ability /100
All feedback welcome.....
To me shark should be a very tight player with huge total profit ,and decent roi, doesn't matter what % i will see when i playing ,i think the most important is the accuracy of the information and those number are rigth there, fish should be a crazy loosing profit with a lot of game on it,low roi...
note:I been wacthing people with shark sign on it and it is just because they hit a big mtt tournament but they dont play well.
either way some fish playing very good ,if you guys can add ,how the people play in last 3 or 4 weeks could be awsome(like pt3---% playing flop, turn )...etc
to be a shark the minimum number of games needs to be well over 100. any donk can bink a couple good scores in mtt sngs. sharks to me are players that play a lot, usually thousands of games and have a good roi/profit for their game. its so hard to determine between $60 6 person sngs and $$1100 6 person regs and $12 180's.........u need such different criteria for people.

i think thewer should be some kind of activity requirement. so that people can't leaderboard squat
