Whats the stance of sharkscope on the guys that are abusing the small stakes HU games i.e. cowboymarco.. the guy plays no blind increase sngs and lets it time down everytime forcing someone to go all in or just quit the game if not they have to play vs him for hours. If nothing else could there be a different section for these games? Because if not the players that play regular speed / turbo speed turbo's have no chance on the leaderboard. Thanks for the help.
It sounds like the best approach would be to report him to PokerStars, I'm sure they would take action against him for that kind of behaviour.
its been dicussed on 2+2 and i think pokerstars has mixed emotions for it. all im saying is it doesnt require the skill of the other games and it makes him look better then he does its basically just angle shooting. I figured you guys actually wanted the most skilled atop your leader board sorry.
Would it not be a good idea to put a time limit on these sngs of say something like 30 minutes?
To a degree we have to be fairly neutral in presenting our leaderboards. We make an effort to remove players found to cheating through chip dumping and colluding, but at the end of the day if something is within the rules (all be it severely angle shooting) then they genuinely are the most profitable player at those games and we should show them as such.
I'm pretty sure that once it becomes common knowledge what this player is doing and how well it clearly is working, then lots of players will try it and PokerStars will be forced to do something to prevent it.
The problem with introducing any time limits to these games, either by having an overall time limit or by reducing the time each player has to act is it runs contrary to the very idea of these games. But I suspect the only option will turn out to be reducing each player's time down.
Well me myself im not a pokerstars player so I really cant contact there support staff. But I really thank you for clearing up this issue for me. I also noticed that on the leaderboard for the 10-15$ games almost everyone of them are from Pokerstars are they all doing this same thing on those type of games?
One more thing if you look at his stats on the regular type of sngs its nothing great he only has a 10% ROI im pushing 12% ROI at the same stakes and I know im not that great..
