This issue happens every long session I multitable on Partypoker.
After playing for a while there are no overlays for new tables. The players are still getting loaded to the list in the player-graphs-tab though, but no stats are showing on the new tables.
This usually happens when the list gets long, which brings us to another issue; players are not being deleted from the list when the table is closed. They are deleted as they bust, but whenever I bust and close the table, the remaining players remains in the list making the list quite long pretty fast. This might be the root problem, but I'm only speculating. Further, the player winning the sng is never deleted from the list.
I have tried to reload the software to clear the list, and sometimes the overlays will appear, sometimes not. But since I also must reload the partypoker client, this is not something I want to do regularly as I miss quite a few hands when multitabling and also lose a lot of concentration.
The problem arises on both my computers, running XP and W7 respectively.
I play 6-handed sngs exclusively.
I do use the preferred seat option.
This should be considered a major bug imo, please fix this.
Hey Admin!!
Are you gonna fix this or not? A week and not even an answer. I've done half the job already isolating the problem, and if I had the source code I could fix the bug in a matter of minutes.
What's taking so song? As subscribers we pay lots of money every month. At least answer and say you're not gonna do anything about it so I can ask for a refund of my last subscription.
Hi Miraculix,
I'm very sorry, somehow we completely missed this thread. I've passed on this info to our dev team and I'd expect them to be able to fix it within the next couple of releases.
Thank you
This problem haven't been fixed yet, does that mean it never will ?
I'm a little surprised of how slow your support is. This is a pretty big problem having to close down PartyPoker every 10 game or so, or play without the hud i am paying for.
It's really frustrating watching the admin answer lots of other threads and just ignoring this one. Please step it up, it's a software we're paying for and still we have to wait at least a month for a simple answer.
I'm very sorry for the lack of response on this but we have been going back and forwards with the development team on this and up to this point haven't had a good enough handle on the causes of the problems to give a useful update up until this point.
The latest version of the HUD does contain some fixes for Party Poker, and we are hopeful these will fix most users problems, however it will definitely not fix all problems as there's one issue that caused by a bug in the Party client itself, and until that's fixed, its very hard for us to work around it. We hopeful they will fix it in the near future, but if that doesn't happen we will have to go back to the drawing board and figure out a way round it.
As always, its extremely helpful to send us the HUD log files found in c:\program files\sharkscope\log.txt immediately after any problems occur.

I've reproduced the problem without playing so I could analyze the problem deeper.
What I did was I opened several tables, just observing, waited for them to finish, closed them and opened a few more and so on until I got a table where HUD did not fetch the overlay stats. Now I opened even more tables after this and to my surprise the stats got fetched correctly on these. So in contrast to what I thought before, it seems like the problem has nothing to do with the list getting long, but rather some random tables get affected. I've had never got the opportunity to experience this while playing because whenever I got an affected table I would not register for more sngs until I finished the session and restarted the software.
Anyway, now I went to the sharkscope log-file and searched for the affected table#. What I found was interesting; a table played approximately an hour earlier and with different players, but not the table I was looking for.
Conclusion:
For some reason Partypoker reuses table# (note: table# is not the same as tournament# at partypoker).
So the HUD software doesn't fetch overlay stats when this happens because it believes that it has already done so!
Sorry for my long posts but I really want to give you as much information as possible. Now, with the problem isolated, I hope it wont take long for you to fix this bug.
