I think the HUD is causing my Cake poker client to crash.
I typically play four to six tables on Cake. When I launch and use HUD on Cake, I eventually experience a crash. It doesn't happen right away; seems to take 20 to 30 minutes of play before the inevitable crash. This means I have to reboot Cake and miss some hands.
I'm pretty sure it's the HUD causing the crash because when I play without the HUD I don't get crashes.
Anyone else?
And, the HUD interfering with Cake graphics continues. It's never gotten any better through all of the updates in the past six months or so.
Will this ever be fixed?

I haven't received any notification of Cake's new client. Is this public knowledge?
It's public knowledge that their new software is currently in a closed beta stage.
We're not aware of any problems with the HUD crashing Cake, but if you'd like to send us your log files after a crash has happened we can take a look.

Cake is coming out with an entirely new client in the next few weeks, so we probably won't be fixing the tricker problems with the current client, so we can focus all our energy on the new software. Hopefully their new client will be easier and more reliable to program around (which isn't asking too much).
