Cant see rakeback anywhere for Stars can u not get it?

Or any1 know a good site? Obviously can't use Full Tilt. Not many big sights seem to allow rakeback. PKR does but something puts me off PKR...

Rakeback on Poker Stars comes in the form of their VIP Club. P5s has a much easier breakdown of it here.

The only thing that is a little off in the P5s chart, is the column where they show the % of equivalent rakeback...when you use your FPPs to buy merchandise or just about anything else besides the cash bonuses-these percentages are pretty accurate. But when you purchase the cash bonuses the percentages are off, because they don't take into account the base FPPs you need to accrue in order the clear the bonuses. So in actuality, if you're a Supernova and buy the $1500 cash bonus, it's more like 20% rakeback.

Here's how it breaks down:

-@Supernova you'd have to pay $5714 in rake to get the 100k FPPs to purchase the bonus
-then you have to pay $2100 more in rake to clear the bonus
-1500/7814=0.19

Oops...I guess I didn't take into account that you're going to be earning more FPPs while you're clearing the bonus...so maybe the numbers even out.

Looked at that but it's more about earning points and not actual rakeback.

Im only thinking about this as the average rakeback is 30%.

I've played about 160 games in 10 days avg stake $7 so I'm missing out on around $40. And that's only in 10 days and my avg stake is increasing. So I'm practically throwing away at least $120 over the month....

Yeah, at such low volume, the Stars program isn't really worth it for you. 27%@FTP or 33%@Cake would be better. Once you reach a point where you're paying>$1500 in rake/tourney fees per month it could be worth your while to give Stars a try.

My viewpoint is this: I liked the 27%RB I was getting on FTP. It has definitely helped build my BR. But sometimes, the money just didn't feel real, because it just appeared in my account about once a week. With the Stars program, I feel like I'm rewarding my self with something tangible. Plus Stars has over 200k players online during peak hours-almost more than the other top 5 sites(FullTilt, Party, Titan, UB) combined.

Just my .02

You can purchase cash bonuses and even cash credits. They have a nice selection of electronics-flat screens, big monitors, iPods, game consoles, gift certicates, etc.
