I can't speak from experience, cuz I've never owned a Mac, but I've always admired those big 24" IMacs. The 24s are great for 4 tables and 6 with a little overlap. Another thing to consider, there may be some issues with Macs not being able to run certain poker software. But then again, I thought I heard Macs can run Windows now, so that might not be an issue anymore. So if that's true/or not an issue for you, then I guess it just comes down to personal preference and cost comparison. I know the Macs are little pricey.

PokerStars has mac software so the compatibility is not an issue. I see very little difference in playing on my mac or pc so if you want an iMac, go for it. I think it plays just fine.

Mac does a nice job but no matter what operating system you run a solid internet connection and a monitor big enough to see the hands is the primary goal.
