After about the FT update in July Ive had constant lag, hands time out, the program is slow to open and all around poor performance from there software. Finally i decided to look around the internet to see how i can fix this, seems like ft should have informed people on how to correct this but i found a forum post with a simple fix and im sure there are many 1000s that still dont know how to do this.
On my XP system i did this and all was better.

Start Menu> Control Panel>Internet Options

Click connections tab> Click LAN settings button at bottom> uncheck AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTINGS if its checked and click ok..

After doing this the software immediately started working faster in every way and is back to normal, i suppose the fix might be slightly different on other computers.
