Just started with PT3 today and it didn't recognise Full Tilt how do I add it? It's just saying Full Tilt is not configured for saving hand histories to disk?
This has taken me about 2 hours to get up and running as well.
also party poker is there but i don't use it any more... Can I sort it out so I only get FTilt?
Thanks in advance...
Cheers mate I'm up and running. Now could u do me the biggest favour ever and give me a clue of a few basic important things to look for?
I just won a SNG and for the majority was about 17 / 10 / 60. So although a bit card dead at first they do seem like tight statistics. Not sure if 60 is a bit high for aggression factor?
But apart from that whats good to look for? There is a lot of information on that HUD!
Thanks.
I think VPIP and PFR are the 2 main numbers to keep an eye on. 17/10 is fine...tight is definitely right for SNGs. The other stats that I have up on my HUD are the total hands I have on each opponent, how often they attempt to steal, fold to a steal, post flop aggression factor, and how often they make a continuation bet.
Here's an old article I dug up from Chris 'Fox' Wallace about basic SNG strategy. It's a little dated, but still very helpful. The only things I would change are, instead of PT2 and Pahud you go with PT3(which you already have), and instead of FullTilt Planner and Highlighter go with TableNinjaFT.
Also, he does preach not limping with speculative hands early on, but I like to. I only do it in late position. I feel you have to take advantage of the weaker players and get their chips while you can. Jennifear makes a pretty good argument for early speculating.
Nice 1. Well so far so good. So you can configure ur HUD to have extra stuff on it? If so how? (sorry!) and yeah in later stages of a SNG people that are constantly folding their blinds are great. I was finding players that would happily fold to even a min raise so I was doing it sometimes with any 2 cards just for the fact that it was a profitable play if he was folding enough.
And yeah nice one those articles are good. I've got the Colin Moshman SNT strategy book and that helped a lot.
Only problem recently is every table I can find has at least 2 or 3 solid players. This isn't a problem early but it's not easy to play solid players late on that know how to change gears, blind steal and resteal. Those are my moves!

Sounds like you may have to go into your 'Options' menu in the FTP lobby, then down to the 'Hand History...' option, and make sure the box is checked next to 'Save My Hand Histories'
If that doesn't work, check here.
