Hi,

I made a couple of MTT videos with Camtasia and would like to submit to Sharkscopers for review (and if approved I can do more and better as these are my first) but my understanding is that you need to become an approved instructor first. How can I do that?

Thank you for your help,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,

We're trying to move away from having to approve instructors before submitting videos and towards having a more open video section. The top requirement is good video quality with clear video and audio. Poker ability is also important, but we won't be requiring players to have $100,000+ profits.

You can submit your by selecting 'upload a video' here - http://www.sharkscopers.com/submit-video . If the quality is good and then I'll publish it on the site. Make sure it's a video format. Export your camtasia video to a good quality mp4 or wmv file.

Hi - I just submitted 4 videos, 3 in English and 1 in Italian. I will do more in Italian if these videos are good enough from your perspective. One question: is it ok to do the same video in 2 languages, or do they need to be different games?

Thank you,
Ivan

The videos came out good! nice video quality and audio. I'll begin publishing them this week.

Sure, you can do the same video in both english and italian. Would you be interested in translating some of our other videos to Italian? We can give you sharkscope subscriptions, access to all our videos, and/or $$.

Hi,

yes sure I can do that - I like to do my own videos as I can explain the reasoning behind my play, however I don't mind translating some from other players, better if they are short though as translating a full videos word by word could drive me mad Smile ....we can give it a try though.

I will try to do a couple of more videos this week if I get some time!

Also I have one more question: Gioco Digitale recently became part of the Ongame.it network and therefore all the old stats are now under "Gioco Digitale (old)" in sharkscope, and the new stats fall under "GDPoker" - I find "GDPoker" in sharkscope but not in sharkscopers though, so I cannot add my GDPoker account to it and this would reduce visibility to the videos as the icon doesn't show on sharkscope. Would it be possible to fix that? Thank you!

Regards,
Ivan

Cool! First I'll have to set up a better way of organizing multi-lingual video so things might get messy and confusing. I'll get in touch when we're ready to do some translations and we can hopefully try it out.

Hi there, I just noticed that for the Italian video that you uploaded today for the 129$ I used smart focus which can be pretty annoying for the viewers. I wonder if it is better to remove it and I can repackage the file and send it to you without smart focus? It will take me 5 minutes to do....

Hi - I just removed smart focus from the 129$ MTT Video in Italian and resent it on to you. I suggest you replace the existing one with this once as it is easier to watch.

Please let me know if you have any question Smile

Ivan

I swapped it out. I agree, smart focus is a bit weird.
