On the turn, I kinda wanted to shove... but I really couldn't think of a hand he's calling the flop with that doesn't have a club. What do you think? Too nitty? Or good laydown? Is there any street you would play differently? Thx

Good lay down, you must preserve your chip stack in these SNGS. And you are beat here a lot more then you are good. You could have bet on the turn and possibly gotten a fold if he didn't have a flush, but I like your check. You can get to a show down on the river if he has nothing and gives up. And if he has the flush and was trapping, you have a chance to improve and stack him. So yea I think I would have played it about the same, except I would have raised to 400-425 preflop.

Great laydown. At that point you are simply not beating enough. I wouldn't really mind a shove on the turn though.. Maybe could fold out either weaker flush or a draw. That play would be sort of very marginal.. as if he did get to his flush you are only 4-1 to get the full house on the remaining card to come.

And this being SNG, the stack is your lifeblood IMO.

My question is you said you kind of wanted to shove the turn... Well why would you shove turn and not call his river? River will bring absolutely nothing that he doesn't already have right? (Lets say he doesn't have a club in his hand and you know that. What does shoving the turn eliminate? A lucky river card is about it. Highly doubt he has a 56 or something around there)

Checking turn was 100% the right play -- I think he raises u on flop w/ any King. Turn was just unfortunate but you def played this the right way. ALL I"M SAYING IS You obviously put him on a higher club then a 4 or else you would have called to play the board. I don't post here often so maybe they don't let you edit what we've typed here, in which case, my bad -- your question just seemed silly.

Anyways, I def think you made correct lay down. I almost never call to play the board unless its something like KKKKA or AKQJ10 no flushes. You can def find a better spot. GREAT CHECK ON THE TURN!
