Starts May 28th.
Schedule is HERE
This thread is for anything related to the 2010 WSOP. Post any info about certain tournaments, updates on players, tell us if you are playing any events and how you do/are doing, talk about any 2010 prop bets, etc.
Im going there for the second half of the wsop. Im going to try and play 10 to 15 events and satelite into the main event. I may take a backer as well for the main event if anyone is interested in backing me for a percentage of that.
this is the final table of the 50k, event #2
1. Robert Mizrachi – 3,125,000
2. David Baker – 3,085,000
3. John Juanda – 2,620,000
4. Mikael Thuritz – 2,300,000
5. Michael Mizrachi – 2,175,000
6. Vladimir Schmelev – 1,925,000
7. Daniel Alaei – 1,705,000
8. David Oppenheim – 460,000
michael ended up winning event 2 and his brother got 5th.
Tom Dwan is the chip leader at the final table of event #11.
my brother informed me that he 5 bet shoved 10's and got lucky against kings late in this event
anybody know of any prop bet with dwan and bracelet(s) this year? i think there is one.
tom is now 1/6 with 75 BB's
tom said in an interview that if he won a bracelet it would be his best winning day ever, his best day online according to PTR is about 2mill, i believe he could win $3mil or so if he gets a bracelet this year.
tom is now 3/3 and far behind 1st.
Ivey took down the $3000 HORSE event, putting him up to 8 bracelets in total (level with Seidel). Only 3 behind Phil Hellmuth and he's only 34!
This also means he's earned 1/2 bracelets towards winning his $5,000,000 prop bet with howard lederer - he now has the rest of this series and all of next year's to win one more bracelet to scoop that $5m.
Mizrachi's been having a good series, as have Men Nguyen and John Juanda. Juanda's made four final tables now with a bracelet; i think Mizrachi has made 3 and Men has come 1st and 2nd in two different events so far.
was very excited to see this. just got onto cardplayer to see how he did in that tourney. beat a stacked final table too.
Nice work Ivey
thought this was interesting.
through 36 events the winners were:
24 Pros
4 semi-pros
8 amateurs.
obviously all luck.

I know of one big prop bet between Phil Ivey and Howard Lederer where Phil is trying to win 2 bracelets in the next two years at the WSOP, if he does then he will win $5,000,000.
is anybody planning on playing any events this year? i did last year but think i'm going to miss it this summer.
