i just looked up his stats, they were reset january first of 2010.
as of today he has played 30,340 games. he plays a lot of $86 hyper turbo sattelites to the sunday mill and warm up, and some 200's to the $500 tourney on sunday. these things take less than 8 minutes to finish most of the time and the rake is under $2 for the $86 buy in but you can get so many games in, in a short period of time. he almost has 400k vpps. at this pace he is going to be SNE by a few times over.

yea thats a ton of money, just if he broke even from sngs. but i'm sure he'll make a few hundred thousand from those.

Bizarre but they do have a tiny rake. Never thought of doing anythingn like that. Ingenius. I wonder if the standard of players is lower on satellites than normal SNGs?
well, $86 buy in plus like $1.72 in rake. top 2 get into the mill, or $215 T$. 3rd gets $86 cash. so i assume basically when you get 3rd place that is where u get your money in cash. the T$ just pay for more sattelites.
If you can't cash the T$ by unregistering then I can't see how he can make any money. I'm also surprised that Stars would ever allow the same account holder to hold more than one ticket to the same event.
I think you must be able to cash by unregistering otherwise it doesn't make sense.
i sign up for one of these for $215. i win, i'm now registered for the million.
I sign up for another for another $215, i win, now i have 215 T$. T$ is not the same as a ticket or regular money in your account.
T$ can only be used to sign up for sngs/tournaments.
they way to make money in these if this is all that you play is that when you use 86 T$ to sign up and you get 3rd place you get $86 in regular cash put into your account. you could also use T$ to sign up for regular sngs and get paid that way also.
I can see he have made over 100 k on 6 max hyperturbo and 20 k on 9 man. But how does he make money of it if he only wins tickets? Can he trade it into money or something? Since sharkscope is showing his profit in dollars, not tournament dollars. How does this work?

in less than 90 days he is averaging over 737 sngs a day. over 66,000 overall this year so far and up over 170k. crazy. he's over 900k vpps now and on track to be the first SNE of the year. he also became a stars pro about a week ago. dude is sick.
This guy is a machine. It's crazy to look at the his latest 250 games on sharkscope and see that they occurred within an hour and a half.
yea its so crazy, and the fact that he's only averaging 1% roi. he's in 1st for overall profit/any game on sharkscope by over $35,000 also.
wonder if he's going to get SNE x3 like last year, or SNE x4. he was on pace for x4 but that would be a sick amount of grinding.
guys im surprised at your ignorance, there are numerous websites who but T$ for 97% or so and W$ for 95% or so. Ofc he dosent have 170k of T$ altho he could seeing as he gets about 250k from SNEx3. im surprised you didnt know this pharreal specially seeing as you were grinding them at one point

everybody who isn't a retard knows you can trade T$ and W$(which don't exist anymore).
but, there is no need to when playing these things. how many times do i need to explain this. $88 buy in, you get T$ 215 for a win. you obviously lose the $88 T$ for a loss. the extra little bit goes towards rake, and when you get third the money is sent to you in cash, no $T. thats where you get the money and don't have much T$ lying around.
not to mention he also plays a few other sngs once in ahwile that don't pay out in T$.
does he finished third and play enough other sngs to use all his t$? i suppose he buys in for bigger tournaments on tuesdays and stuff but im not sure whether he can burn off all those t$. Hes got a blog i might ask him what he does. Maybe now hes a pro pokerstars just gives it to him in cash doubtful tho. I guess he would burn off a fair bit of t$ coming third and buying into $212 and $424. Oh yeah and sorry for sounding like a dick :/
Ive looked at this pretty closely and even played in some of these games. It is all about the ICM in these games. There are a few regs grinding these and the games are pretty tough. They are High variance games but can be smoothed out with a high number of games and mass tabling them. What he is doing though is quite impressive. It is nice to see a non heads up player on top of the leaderboard.
I agree, lots of good regs and the variance is super sick. I'm also glad to finally see a non heads up player on top of the leaderboard. i've never seen a non heads up player on the top of that list.
T$ can be sold on twoplustwo for 99 - 99.5%. You'll get much better value going there than using any of the web sites that buy and sell it.
but if you are a sng player i think its pretty stupid to sell T$ because you will be losing money on it. just play sngs that you are a winning player at and you wil turn all of your T$ into cash.

btw seen him grinding some $800 hyper turbo sngs with like $17 rake along with scoop tourneys.
if he wasn't playing scoop events and just playing sattelites that would be a shit load of vpps. not that 93.5 vpps from one hyper turbo isn't enough.
dudes been playing a bunch of the $1,275 +$25 hypers today and some of the $400 ones, also saw him play a $2100 hyper.
he is only playing 1-3 hypers at a time but it is more rakes than 20 tabling his normal sunday mill sats.
i looked up his stats about an hour ago and he was down like 10k on the day and 20k on the week. but 30mins later he did profit 8k from the 2100 hyper so who knows where he is at.
he's bound to have some huge swings at these stakes.
these are his sngs from may 2nd to may 16th, during scoop. pretty sure his volume was much lower but his buy ins were much higher. sick ups and downs at those stakes.
saw on his blog that before this years world series he has played about 150 events and only has had 4 small cashes.
that has to suck. from what i've seen so far this year he has cashed once and busted in everything else.
he's slipped to 4th on the sharkscope leaderboard for the year. i'm pretty sure he hasn't really put in any volume in over 2 months.
anybody think he'll be on top by the end of the year?
