Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan made a bet for $1 million that Phil couldn't go without meat for 1 year.
Phil called Dwan about a month in and settled the bet for $150,000 when he realized he couldn't go a year without meat.

-can't find the link now but i thought that i read somewhere that he turned down a bet of $2 to go without sex for a year. not sure if i saw that though, i'm sure somebody could find a link.
It's hard to believe that anyone would give up $1,000,000 to eat meat. Ivey could have spent $150,000 to hire an amazing personal vegetarian chef to cook meals for him every where he went.
I'm sure thats what he was planning on doing, or did but if you love meat that much, i guess it could be very hard at times.
