We just finished off our first leaderboard competition, which rewarded players who won the most double or nothing sit&go's. We're getting ready to run another one, but we're undecided on what the format should be. If you have any opinions or suggestions, voice them here.
Some ideas I had while brainstorming were:
- Most cashes in a row, in regular 9 person sng's
- We can base it on $$ won
- We can set up a points based leaderboard, that rewards competitors with a point every time they cash 3 times in a row...
- A points based format that rewards a point for every win, and gives more or less points depending on the stakes.
what site is it going to be on?
if you are doing what you did before then i'm not very interested but if you do it across all sites or something for a new competition i'm down. obviously i'd vote for something like double or nothings because thats what i play. maybe something with cashes, most money won, roi, whatever. not most in a row though. thats rough.
Our next competition will probably be with sunpoker and players only again. Without them, the prizepool would be pretty slim. I'd want to open it up to more sites after this next one though. For our 3rd competition though, I've got an idea on how we can open it up to a lot more sites and still afford to pay out some cool prizes.
hey there
im new to sharkscopers but ill still put in my 2 cents worth
i feel that a leaderboard should be based on consistancy of over all performance and not neccessaryly on how many wins you can string together << -- although this is a skill worth mentioning but i feel this is more luck than anything else...
so why not something that rewards sheer volume vs performance vs Profit.... like a 3 part leaderboard point calculation ? this way it will show and represent a sng players true skills in this field
let me know what u guys think

HI all, new to the forum too
I wasn't here for the last competition but as I understand it you had a leaderboard for US and non US players. Doing one for 9 person tables and 6 person tables would certainly be helpful, as I only really play Five card draw which is 6 seater only. I play on Pokerstars too and don't fancy registering with a whole new poker site (SunPoker is it?) which i haven't heard of before.
Personally I feel that a system that embraces players of all buy in levels, on all major poker rooms, in either 6 or 9 seat tables will undoubtedly be the best way to keep the majority of people happy, including me

What ever you choose please don't use SunPoker. It's pointless playing on a site that refuses to let you cash out. So you not only don't get the prize but also lose your original deposit.
