I've twice now lost my whole stack in this way.

Mid way through an 6 handed sng, i get Q-J of hearts on the button.

Their is one limper before me so i raise 4X,

The limper calles and every one else folds.

The flop come 9h-Th-Qs

The limper checks, so i raise half the pot as i want him to call with worse hands or draws.

He calls and the turn is a Jc

He checks, I check worried about a straight hoping to hit J, Q or heart on the river.

The river is a meaningless card like 4d

He then bets half pot, now im thinking he's just betting because i've shown weakness on the turn. I call he has K-T,

And my stack is left crippled.

So any suggestions of how i could of played that hend better would be much appreciated.

Thanx Jack

its ok to raise the qjs from the button trying to get the donkey limper to fold pre and then u still have position if he calls. after that just a bad turn, shit happens.

same as the last poster.. you cannot get away from the hand easy after that turn. A lot of times you'll be beating a donkey with worse two pair, top pair and a good kicker etc. He could even be betting hands that are far behind what you got there, hoping for a semi-bluff possibly (if called).
