this thread is for those trying to make it to the BOP tournament, or just trying to win some extra cash and make it onto a leaderboard.

Im taking this week off from grinding the BOP leaderboard but I did want to brag about taking down the earth high leaderboard last week and for the 2nd time this year

what type of games do you play, and did you get it on low or high orbit?
eh, my 6th game i didn't cash and looks like i'm not getting into anymore today. might have to take a shot at hold em 9/10 mans for the rest this week and start trying multiple levels next week.
i got 30th on the low orbit and 1st on the high orbit....i play omaha h/l...this game has an advantage over holdem because it has less variance. So far this year ive won the high earth twice and have 6 top ten finishes on various leaderboards and 8 overall BOP cashes
damn, nice work dude. i can't seem to get enough games in at what i play plus i didn't really start til tuesday this week. i'll probably just fill it in with hold em on saturday just to see what i get, then next week put in some volume at a few different levels just to see what i get.
just got 421 points for mercury level, 7 points shy of making it into top 100 with a day and a half to go.
i'm going to start grinding my games at 3 different levels or so starting sunday this week and see what happens.
Managed to sneak 1st on mars high with 1719
won venus twice this year too and mercury once so decent start.

Was victorious in last weeks high orbit mercury leaderboard - 1920 points winning score
keep working at it phar, for a one off shot at the low orbit, 421 is a very decent score. Only one more 2nd place wuld have put you in top 100 for the low.
I do agree entirely with shauns approach of working at a low variance game to try and put together a big score. Mine is 5 card draw, and just as with omaha h/l, its lower variance, and theres lots of weak players out there playing for fun.

this week i'm only going for one leaderboard and i have a solid start.
Mercury level, low orbit. i've played 5 games, and have 15 to go. i've played 8 person sngs and have started with 4 wins, and 1 4th place for no points.
