I wish I had more time.. *sigh*

I wish my rl life hadn't been so brutal on me.. I just cannot get enough time for poker!

Doing much better at the SNG tables though.. I've been consistently finishing in 1st when it comes to final tables. Using the SNG Wiz to practice late stage push/shove game appears to be showing early positive results. And of course it helps that low stakes SNG fish are simply terrible at HU play. That means more 1st prize moneys for me.. and that's easily bread & butter of the game.

Nice sessions.. but too short..

I've been just so busy lately off the tabs. Got invited to a wedding, there are relative's b'days, doctor's appointments etc, and running other urgent errands (gf being huge part of it all goddamit). Find it really hard to get the quality time to play, when I'm well rested. After a full day of running around keeping busy, it leaves very little energy to cram in quality sessions when you are not tired; as obv. playing fatigued is so -EV.

Tired today.. *sigh*

Had a quick nap to refresh myself, had about 8 tourneys, lost 'em all. Lost a ton of flips and most annoyingly, the $10 45man I was doing well in I busted at the final table when a loose player opened in cutoff with Q6s and I reshoved for 11bb with AKs. He got there on riv and I was out.

Mathematically.. the downswing could continue for a very long time, I guess the only option I got is to grind more. As I said, I've already dropped down to level $5 (playing only occasional $10 45man -- about 10% -- if tourneys are too slow to start).

SnG study groups..

I'm curious if any up and coming SNGers might be interested in setting up some kind of study group or circle? We could exchange Skype or MSN and commit to spending some time to discuss our game, go over some hands etc. Any takers?

Improving game..

First off.. the numbers are still lagging far behind what seems to be at least +EV performance. Pretty standard beats and flips that I cannot seem to win in most crucial spots. At end of sess. crawled to 7th spot in a $10 45man when I got 99 in BB with 12bb in hand. The aggro SB made a standard steal raise when folded to him and obv. I shipped. He did show up with a monster hand in that spot but fortunately his 77 was thoroughly crushed by my 99! Unfortunately, that 24bb monster pot went his way. The thing about those bubble suckouts is they feel so unjust.

Nice session..

Finally the session I've been waiting for. Had a busy day but managed to complete 27 tourneys (short of 50 as per target), a mixture of $5 and $10 games. I've bubbled in a few due to sick coolers/beats but managed to finish 1st in two $10 45mans as well as ITM in a couple more for a $205 profit when fees + rake is subtracted.

Tomorrow starting off with an hour reviewing hands..

Must be my first blog entry here?

Had terrible session today, but otherwise played well. I seem to be going through a rough patch of hands. I've lost countless spots where I was far ahead of my opponents. Hoping for a reversal of fortune one of these days, as it is all zigging at this point. I'm still managing an ok ROI over 600+ games.

I really want to take this bitch down and crush the games. By the amount of bad beats I'm taking, I feel like I'm making all the right moves and there's still plenty of dead money especially at the levels I'm playing ($10).

Thanks for caring to read Smile
