Winamax Dublin 6-Max Event deep run + AssoPoker interview link

The weekend just gone I played the 6-Max Winamax European Championship in Dublin. 313 players played this 550€ event and it was a great success. I don't think I ever enjoyed a live tournament so much, this was my first 6-max live event and boys, this is soooo much better than playing live boring full-ring events! Playing 6-max MTT is really playing poker, and knowing stack sizes and position is really fundamental in order to go deep (obv you go deep by luckboxing your way through also, like in every MTT )

I built my stack regularly, little by little and had a decent stack throughout the tournament. I got to the final day (day 3) and ended in 14th place, which left me VERY disappointed. Only 2k €, when the winner was getting 40k, quite sick, but what can you do....I think I played extremely well on day 1 and day 2 when the structure was really good and the stacks really deep. Stacks were still good on day 3 but a little bit shallower obviously, so winning coin flips was really important and didn't manage to win a couple of critical ones....overall though I really had great fun and it was a tournament that I will look forward to play again next year. I met a lot of nice people (I think 70% were French, 29,9% Irish, and then there was me lol ) and gained more live experience. I am planning to play more live high-buy ins events next year and possibly play some big ones, like EPTs and obv WSOP.

I won't be playing much poker in the next month as I am busy with family commitments this week and will be going to the USA for 2 weeks in October on holidays, can't wait!!! I love travelling to the USA!!!
