UKIPT disappointment and big Sunday hit!

the last couple of weeks have been pretty intense poker wise! I played a lot of MTTs online and in the first 10 days of the month I shipped 3 of them, all very small though (around 90-100 players) but they are still good bankroll builders and cover my buy-ins for other MTTs. I won the 40€ "Giornaliero Tecnico" on GDPoker twice last week and the 55€ Double Stack in the afternoon once....all for around 1k-1.2k wins each. Overall I made no profit though!

Then last Thursday I played Day 1 of the UKIPT in Dublin (560€ buy in event). I really enjoyed the tournament and I really think I played great poker but I only finished the day with 14k (average 28k). I came back from Day 2 and start accumulating chips from the first minute, finally getting a decent run of cards. I sat at the table with the gorgeous Vanessa Rousso (sitting just to my right), and busted out Pokerstars Pro JP Kelly, when he tried a resteal with A3 over my LP raise and I called with AJ which held. At that point I was really with a good stack, 590 players started the tournament and 72 were cashing, with 80 left and average stack of about 100k I had 140k and things were looking bright!

But then disaster struck, I pick up QQ, open 2.2x from HJ, get 3-bet from big stack on the button, I decide to flat to get more value from non-AA/KK hands (if I shove pre I only get called by one of those hands anyway given the situation), flop comes 9 9 7 rainbow, and check/push all in and get snap called by Villain who turns over KK ....and it's all over for me just before the bubble in 80th place
I wasn't upset about not cashing (72nd place was only 750€) but was really sick about getting such a cooler so deep in this tournament

The following day I shipped another MTT, the 70€ night tourney on GD Poker (with about 100 players) for a sweet 1.7k € pay day that gave me something to smile for

But big things were waiting for me on Sunday....ohooohhhohohhhh very big things!
To keep it shortly I shipped the "Gran Domenica" on Sisal Poker for over 20k €...this was a 100€ MTT with 898 players, needless to say that I run pretty good and my bad run is officially over as of today!!! yyyyeepppepepeeepepeppeeeeee
