Long time no post....

Well I haven't posted in 2011 yet, so I think is time for a general update....poker wise I am basically break-even 40 days into the new year which is really bad (just about 1k up as of today), but I assure you, it has been a rollercoast! In other words, I have been doing ok in MTT, but nothing special....I haven't played that much either due to personal commitments, just about 15 night I guess.

The real problem is with the cash game. I wanted to play Rush Poker on FTP regularly this year, but really...I can't take it anymore. Bear with me, in no way I want to imply that FTP is rigged or bullshit like that, but I am simply running a life time under EV. When the chips are in, before the turn and river cards are shown, I know already what's coming...really I know negative thinking is not good for the game, but hey, this is way beyond what I could imagine.

I attach here a my 2011 Rush graph....after 28k hands, evenly mixed between 200nl and 400nl, I should be breaking even! Oh wait no, there is 1k misclick I did (sick sick sick) at 400nl when playing with 1k effective stacks I bet 444 on the turn instead of 44 and was committed to call a shove con 2 overcards + 2nd nut FD and GTSD ...obv villain had a straight and I didn't improve.

On top of that I would think another 2-3k were lost due to tilt....so that's my graph! Enjoy!

Obviously I am done with Rush Poker as I am not really keen to go give away money anymore. Goodbye!

Apart from online poker I also played a couple of live events. I played in the Poker Gran Prix in Saint Vincent (Italy) for only my second time (second time ever playing live poker in Italy) and had great fun! This time I went on my own, so for 3 days I was basically playing poker all the times.

The first event I played was the 550€ PLO tourney and busted out like a sucker, I still have a long way to go on PLO and it is a game I am spending time studying these days, so I really want to improve and get good at it!

Then I played the 1,650€ Main Event and I think I played really well, buildt most of my stack without showdown (I tend to play much more aggro live than I do online for some reason, maybe because I can have better reads of other players or maybe because I am just bored ), fact is that I play better , then got caught making a move that I shouldn't have (4bet/fold 78s ) and went card dead for long parts of the tourney, until I busted out losing a big race 88 < AK all in preflop ....AAK flop obv lol.

Last I played the 550€ side event, were I finish 18th out of 200+ players, but I cashed very little due to the really vertical payout structure.

Last weekend I then played the European Deepstack Championship in Dublin, the structure was amazing with 50k starting stack. I got to the tournament a couple of hours late as I was busy at work and couldn't bother taking half day when I knew I would loose no more than 5% of my stack while away. I got a really easy table draw, but just got coolered about 13143934890 times in the same day, it was such a frustrating experience that I don't even want too much into details!
