It's WSOP time, it's Vegas time baby!!!

Short update after a couple of weeks of silence and meditation LOL

May has been the worst month in a while poker wise for me, at one point I was 2.5k € down for the month, and now I am just about 500 € down, which is nothing really, but I want to fight hard these last couple of days that I can play in order to break even at least (1 euro profit is my goal and keep my winning streak going. I haven't had a negative month since October 2009 and want to keep it going! Nothing has been going well for me this month and got very sick beats in critical moments of major tournaments, and the fact that despite of running so badly I am close to break even makes me feel very optimistic for the future!
Poker is not only maximizing your winnings when you run good, but also minimizing the damage when you run bad....if you manage to do that, then you will always make money!

This Saturday I will finally go to Las Vegas for the first time in my life! I am REALLY excited about it and plan to play a lot of poker, a couple of WSOP events for sure and obviously party a lot! I will also play a lot of cash games as even though it is not my main game I believe I can have a huge edge on the average Vegas-fish.

I will be staying at the Imperial Palace that from what I heard is a pretty crappy hotel, but little I care, location-wise is the nuts! I will be spending very little time in the hotel, I just really need a place to sleep a few hours and it is closed to all hotels/clubs/casinos. Due to work commitments I can only stay 9 days, but that is fine by me!!! I will be broke by the 9th day anyway, so I can't see a problem there
