FTOPS Event #3...so close!!! Finished 8th / 1158, lost "another" coin flip of a life time!!!

I usually don't play much on FTP but I decided to play a few FTOPS Events this month, starting with the $300 + $22 NL Hold'em 4xShootout 6-Max Turbo , I always do very well in 6-max events, so I thought I could make a good result.

Basically in order to win this tourney you have got to win four 6-man SNG in a row....I managed to win 2 and got down to the last two tables when I lost the coin flip of a life time in HU in the 3rd SNG against the player who ended up winning the event for 60k $ . A coin flip with an equity of 25k $.....my 22 vs KQ all in preflop, I felt physically sick when the Q felt on the turn. Once again so close to the big hit and at the same time so far away!!!
I managed to win 5.5k $ but they were certainly a bitter prize! Despite of this decent result I am breaking even so far in November (what a spewer! ), unfortunately due to personal commitments I could only play 6 out 15 nights, so the sample of tournaments played is very small. I still have two weeks left to make a few kkk and another positive month. Hope to run good!

I will also play a live tournament at the end of the month in Dublin - the Fitzwillam Festival ME, this is a 540€ MTT and the structure seems decent enough, so hopefully I will go deep in that one!!!

Away from the table my collaboration with PokerStrategy.com is progressing well, I recorded 4 new videos this month that should be available to view shortly and will do a couple more for the FTOPS Event #3 - We are also ready to schedule regular coaching now as we have agreed terms, so I think I will be coaching (in Italian) every Monday starting soon. Looking forward to it!!!
