Back from holidays, back on the grind!

I just returned from 2 wonderful weeks in the USA. I traveled a lot from San Francisco down the coast to LA, on Route 66 to the Gran Canyon and finished up in Las Vegas where I didn't even have time to play (just a couple of hours cash games) as I was kept busy entertaining the lady :P . I really love driving in the USA, just wonderful! Will be back next year for sure!!!

After over 2 weeks without poker I went back on the grind on Monday, finished 14th out of 650+ players on the Night On Stars of PS.it and got me really frustrated (I exited about 20 times at 2-3 table to the end in this tournament in the last 6 months), but had a couple of sweet results last night.

Finished 3/223 on the High Roller of GDPoker for 2.7k € and shortly after finished 2/139 in the 100 rebuy on ipoker.com for a sweet prize of 5.7k. In both tournaments I got aces cracked at the FT by J9 and A5s respectively or I would have almost certainly shipped both tournaments, so that pissed me off a bit but I guess I can't complain about these results for a good night of work

I have no reached 89k € profit for 2010 and with just a bit over two months to go I still hope to reach the 100k € goal. I have also decided to start learning PLO 6-Max properly starting from low stakes. I am watching plenty of training videos and I am currently trying to figure out how to use HUD for PLO and which stats to pick. Hopefully I will learn to play well in the next few weeks/months.

This weekend I will be playing the Irish Winter Festival in Dublin, this is a pretty big tournament and really hope to do well!!!
