Playing good ball
I ran pretty terribly on FT over about 50 games, but managed to turn it 'round on AP. I'm being more patient when we get 5-handed and less, resulting in more cashes and more opportunities to get lucky once we reach the money.
That's a good concept, giving yourself a chance to get lucky by getting to the money. If you're short stacked and manage to sneak into the money with 7 bbs, great. Now you've got a shot to double up and make a move at the higher money spots.
If you're not patient enough to wait just one or two more hands to move in, you're not only costing yourself a shot at the third spot, but also missing out on those opportunities to gamble and take a shot at the win when you do wait for a better spot.
I'd been getting too impatient when we got 4 and 5-handed, resulting in not only more eliminations but taking away those chances to get lucky and cash higher.
I've also been playing a bunch of turbos, which I think I will continue to do. Gotta just play as many ballgames as possible..
