prob my best ever 9 man SNG day

having been undecided on whether to grind the last couple of days of the month i realised i was ~7000 FPPs short of buying the $650 bonus from the VIP store at the reduced january sale price of 40,000 FPPs (usual price 50,000FPPs). this would take over 180 games at the $22 level or over 120 at the $33 level. i decided just to go for it as it would be good prep for next month and the bonus works out decent value as well. it also gets some more games in which moves me closer to the 100k VPP level which i am aiming to hit around May time and with that comes the completion of the stellar rewards for $1k.

so i went to a net cafe today and played 63 games with an average buy in of $26 resulting in a profit of $1013 with an roi of 57% Smile tomorrow i will play a full session of $33s until i hit the required amount of FPPs then take it easy. i will be drinking quite a bit tonight so it may be a reduced number of games at a time depending on how my head is but i will plough through.

so for the month i am currently up $3714 not counting FPPs, BOP bonuses and stellar rewards which i think is a good return considering i havent been able to play for a substantial period of time due to poor net. it will at least make britcliffe sweat for a bit when i play my session tomorrow Smile

so after a strenuous annoying month internet and apartment wise i am optimistic for the next month and am suprisingly looking forward to grinding for a bit

Very nice stats. I've also had terrible problems with my internet connection this month and have played really well when it's been working. I wonder if having a few enforced breaks is good for the game.

thanks man. the internet was doing my head in for a bit. when im at home my net is fine but being here with a net that is temporamental can cause a lot of stress especially when you have $4/$500 in play and your disconnected.

i think breaks are defo good for your game. there are players that can comfortably play 40/50/60 hours a week every week but i think those players in general are money obsessed and probably miss out on a lot of life. enjoyment is my primary aim and it should be for most people especially recreational players. i think for the majority of people if you take a break, get focused, relaxed and happy again the money you miss out on in your break will be made back in no time by an increse in your roi.

First off, CONGRATS!! That's amazing!!!
You play 9man STTs correct? How many do you play at the same time and on what size of screen?
I'm asking because I am a winning player and I grind the 22$ 9mans, and I usually play 6 at a time on a standard 15" monitor. I am currently looking for ways to A) Gain more profit and Glasses play more games.
Any advice?

yeah STTs ranging from $22 to $55. i play up to 16 at a time on a 15 inch laptop screen. i would gradually work your games up at a time and find out what amount of games you perform best at. for example 5 games at $5 a game is better than 7 at $2 a game. a lot of people tend to go for as many games as possible but its all about your hourly rather than roi if your interested in making decent money from the game. also continually evalauate your game looking at your hh etc to see what u could have done better. also take lots of notes on players. these are invaluable

Thanks! I am guessing you cascade these tables rather then tilt them =)
I've had 6 tables profitably, tried 9 tables but never got out profitably with 9. =( Thanks for the advice ! I need a bigger screen IMO.
