Time to shoot at $26

So I have a good bankroll, 1.5k, isit time to take my first shots at the $26 game, I figured I have 60 buy ins which is plenty to take a shot but I will not be playing sessions with entire $26 for two reasons, I will be riskin alot of my roll if it all goes wrong and also they just don't fill up quick enough so I figured I will start with playing 6 $11 and 6 $26, in doing this I am not actually playing a stake of $26dollas the true stake I am playing is $18.5 and for this I have around 80 buy ins so I am happy to go with the first couple of shots, I am prepared to drop straight back down to the $11 if fall under 45 buy ins for the $26 game. I will keep you updated on how the $26 games play compared to the $10, I used to play these regually before and found them actually easier but maybe I was on a hot swing so hopefully they will work out for me.
Wish me luck guys.

Really good, RYHUNDO, really really good.
Hey, why don't you break down your results and find which percentage of profit comes from 45 mtt and which comes from 9 stt?
If you see that (as I suppose) your major income comes from 45mtt, you could stop playing stt (they should be just a waste of time, if what I suppose is true).
Don't you agree?

I have already done this and found that result is true if it was last year my stt game was amazing but everyone has learnt the same stratorgy and there getting much harder on fulltilt since cardrunners became free, I have stopped the stts, I rarely play them unless I havent got 3hours or so to play as mtt sngs take a while, the problem will only really come when I hit the higher stake sngs as 69dolla games is the highest limit in mtt sngs so my hourly profit will be better when I am playing stts but that is a way off right now. Thanks though buddy.

ya go 4 it,i admire ur br management 2 its prob the hardest thing in poker cause poker players are gamblers and gamblers always want the big score,gl n the 26s

thanks mate, I have to admit I used to be the worst money managed guy but as I am going full time whilst going uni 3days a week I decided I needed to take control of my money management situation because I will be broke if I don't. Money management is the hardest part of poker I find though and am still worried about the big blow up happening again but I really feel I have a good poker mindset lately which should control this happening in future.

Anyways I played my first games of $26 went horrible for the first hour, kings, aces, kings. set of 8s etc all got cracked one after the other, I thought it was gonna be a horrible one, I was left in two 4 games all final tables and my internet went down whilst holding jacks, I was going crazy, my internet came back on and I was in the money in 1 $10 and 1 $26 and bubbled the other 2 so I grinded it through and managed to win the $26 and only came 5th in the $10, I really need to invest in a new internet provider or maybe stop using wireless because it happends too often. I was up $150 for the session so I was extreamly happy with this.

I can confirm: don't use wireless when you play. Use the cable, it provides a more robust and stable connection. Right now I'm just going to play 10 simultaneous 10€ sngs for 2 hours... I'll let you know how it goes. Later.

Well, it has been a good session: +70€, a good place in the bonus leaderboard and the roi (at 10€) is now -5% (three days ago I was starting from -50%). Now I take a break and then I'll start another 2/3 hours session.
Later.

Good session again: +40€ and -2.5% roi at 10€.
On SS I am at +680€, but with bonuses I am near 1K mark too Smile
Do you think I have to make a blog too?

Keep it ryhundo! I think a lot of the lower grinders will be inspired by your dedication and money management skills. Keep up the great work. Hell i check your blog as soon as i can. GL

Giusnun, well done, you must be really happy with these results, to get it dwn to -2.5% is really good mate, keep it up and keep on grinding. Yeah I would like to see a blog of yours mate.

Walchy, thank you, you give me confidence in myself and I am happy I can inspire other low stake grinders. I will keep you updated, I didnt play yesterday but I will tonight when I get home, I may not play the $26dollas ones tonight as I want to induce them slowly and would really be more confitable playing with 2k online, I will see how I feel and how the games are going etc.

You know what is good in this community? The collaborative mind, the spirit of cohoperation between hi-stakers, low stakers, grinders and occasional players who are not in competition one against the other but they all help each other to reach the same goal. I have been very motivated by this feeling.
Thanks to Mark "Pimpindonks", to RYHUNDO and to all the other bloggers and posters.
Let's going on like that, guys.

Cheers man, I feel the same, I feel it has motivated me in being more professional about my game and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Keep it up guys.

Ryhundo,

Good work! I'm a follower of your progress. You give me motivation to struggle forward with my poker skills and a dream.
Could you please tell me which video material have been the most valuable for you in a progress of your skill (alongside with PimpinDonks' videos)?

Keep up the good work!

Best,
Calitry

Hey man,

Everyone on here is so nice, and it really keeps me going to make sure I don't let u down and stuff. I personally believe Beanmo is the most person to teach me anything, if you really watch closely on his bubble play it is so perfect, and in terms of mtt style play I learnt alot of jshesset in his mtt videos on cardrunners.com. Jackal is cool to watch but he is a bit a tad loose. And really if your a stt turbo player you have to watch azntrackers videos on sitngogrinders.com. The secret behind me doing so well is I never stop watchin videos, I am always developing always adapting and always varying my style to suit the situation. Also a great book is the secrets of sit n goes by collin moshman.

To keep you updated my bankroll is now currently at $1910, I stupidly played sum HU 11 n 22 n lost a few games in a row otherwise I wud have been on $1990.

NO MORE HU.

KEEP THE GRIND ON.

RYHUNDO

Hey,

Thanks for the great answer! I've been reading Moshman's book several times now, a good one! Also unlocked PimpinDonk's #4-6 vids.
As I'm limited to two more videos to unlock, please tell me, which ones would you unlock from Beanmo's collection?

Cheers,
Cali

The newer ones where he had the black and yellow cards, the best is 110-220 and try like a mid stakes one as all his stuff is so good.
