WOW I have never experienced a downswing like this.. I'M SAD... I am dropping to the $10 game with only 1650 on my account now. ERRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...
get some anger out. O I wish I was made of money. Anyways I am still happy, I will put in a big session tomoro and hopefully get back on track.

Below is the entire month of June and the first day of July is the downswing lol this month will be a hard one. LOL..

I hate downswings man, I really should have stuck to the $11 game, I am not stepping up to another $26 until I have 2400 in my account, I knew it was too good to continue that upswing I fort 550 games is a good sample and I was killing it and now in 50 games I jus couldn't win. thats pretty bad. If I am still alive tomorrow I will post some long hard thought out goals for JULY and stick to them.

So guys I had a loosing session yesterday, and break even one today. So i was ready to quit. I then decided to play a $10 HU, won it, and another, I thought ok I will just play 1 $22 but accidently clicked $33 lost 2 games to one guy before realising, then I went on tilt, played him in the 3rd one and my queens got cracked by two under cards so now I'm fuming $100 n didnt even see it cuming, so me being me, just sed a quick $110 n thats me done, I get the biggest donk in the history of the world, POTTING N GOING ALL IN FOR SMALL POTS. so i wait n wait n finally I see the best two looking cards in the deck, AA, i raise 120 n he calls, flop is q32 rainbow n he clicks POT. I have 1000 so I dont wana scare him away, turn cums 8.. POT.. yes my dream come true, he turns over q2 offsuit, strange way to play the hand but then I checked his stats n he was MASSIVE dwn so I gathered the reasons. Before carrying on the tilt I fort man I worked so hard grinding the tables to do this whole tilt thing again, the first thing I thought was I'ma let myself and some of you guys down if I continue these bad bankroll skills, after all I still have $2100 on here why tilt? Thats much better than I had hoped for so soon, so I wrote this blog for few reasons.

1) Evidence that I'm not cut out yet for the swings of the $26 dolla game yet, although I have an average profit of $18 dollas a game in them and will deffinately play them again soon, but will rebuild what I lost today in the $10 games first before I do n keep doing so I will use $2000 as my cut of point for them so I will still mix a couple in my next session maybe.
2) Shows that we all go of the rails sometimes but the important thing is I managed to stop even though a little damage was done but not cotastrophy.
3) I wanted to say sorry to the guys who I have been leading a good example to about money management and show you guys it just doesn't pay hopefully I will teach you never to start cheating your bankroll because its something I used to do alot to regain big loosing sessions and its just better to walk away and play another day.
4) To calm myself down and to read to myself what I know is correct sometimes you can think things but just need to write them down to get them to make sense in your head, pokers confusing sometimes but through money management I will make it to the top I know I can so I need to keep telling myself to money manage better and to control tilt.

So guys, although a boring blog, I hope it has been useful, it has made me happy already and made me smile to myelf that I lost the minimum. I would like some feedback, maybe telling me off, maybe some constructive thoughts on things that help you when you have a loosing session, after all we may be good poker players but we are human beings at the end of the day.

Just to update u guys on what day I have had, I finished work at 12 got a hair cut, had a subway (chicken and bacon) and then GRINDED it up the entire day, I played 3 full sessions of 45man sngs mix of $10 and $26 and had a real succcessful day, am really happy with how things have been going, I managed to take my bankroll from $1620- $2225.
I reduced the number of tabled from 12-9 half way through the session becaue I can tile them which I personally think is better because u can auto fold a bunch of hands and concentrate on the action on your bigger hands like an example of a leak I feel I developed: I was auto getin jacks in to raises and re-raises when I was casading just because I didnt have a feel for hand,the time someone took to re raise etc and you can get it in and ignore the results which is bad when your making a mistake but is good when ur getin it in good, but yeah tiling them helps me make good reads on players, you can tile 12 its just a bit saw on the eyes and you miss some action looking all over the screen.

Got a wedding to go to tomoro so no playing tomoro, or saturday depending on the hang over, should be fun.

Stats since June 1st 2009.

So I have a good bankroll, 1.5k, isit time to take my first shots at the $26 game, I figured I have 60 buy ins which is plenty to take a shot but I will not be playing sessions with entire $26 for two reasons, I will be riskin alot of my roll if it all goes wrong and also they just don't fill up quick enough so I figured I will start with playing 6 $11 and 6 $26, in doing this I am not actually playing a stake of $26dollas the true stake I am playing is $18.5 and for this I have around 80 buy ins so I am happy to go with the first couple of shots, I am prepared to drop straight back down to the $11 if fall under 45 buy ins for the $26 game. I will keep you updated on how the $26 games play compared to the $10, I used to play these regually before and found them actually easier but maybe I was on a hot swing so hopefully they will work out for me.

Just a quick update, I reached the 1k mark on my bankroll which I was really happy with. I am still playing the $5-$10 45man sngs, I also play a couple of $6 HUs just to round of a session, this isn't because I want to get back into the HU but its to make sure I keep on winning more 45mans instead of 2nd and 3rd. I do tend to win nealy always when I get HU but I want to keep that edge as most players play extreamly bad when it comes to 3handed and HU play in 45mans and thats where the money is, I assume it will get harder at the higher stakes so will keep on playing small stake HUs from time to time to keep that edge.

Only played one session of about 17games mix between $5-$10 mtt/45man sngs and 27 man sngs. got some good results so was happy.

Results: started on $725 and now on $850

When I get to 1300 I may add some 26dolla 45mans am looking forward to it.

I am pretty pleased with my results so far and really shows that if you are a higher stake player and you take a downswing there is no shame in starting from scratch instead of tilting about it, because its a long road and you will just make it longer if you try to cheat your bankroll which I have learnt far to many times. But anyways I am not happy with the amount of play I have put in, I have only played 7days worth in 11days and have not played enough games per day but this is due to work commitments, this shall change as of the end of July when I will not be working.

Also I might make a video on how I am actually playing in these lower stake games if any of you would be interested let me know and I will contact sharkscopers to see if they will let me sell it on here.

Day 6 went well aswel, I woun't bore you with the details.

Well I have almost managed to reach my first land mark, 50 buys for the 10dolla game, I have played/run lovely today, my kings n aces heald up quite a bit so that really helped, and getting them on my final tables at the rite times is a plus also. So yeah it went really good played 3 sessions, and played around 40-50 games not quite sure how many, I played a mix between 45 mans and 9 ways for my first session, and won around 20dollas, in the second session I decided to try some 6dolla turbos because I just have never mastered turbos and fort mite aswel give it a shot to increase hourly rates in the future, I will probably purchase pimpindonks video on them soon, but am currently in the middle of reading two books and watching sng grinder videos so its hard to do all at once, I broke even in that session, and then for the 3rd session I mixed between $5- $10 45 mans and really crushed them with a 1st,2nd,3rd n some othe ITM finish, went really well, am really happy that it paid off to stick them out because I really enjoy playing the 45man sngs and wana master them when I am playing fulltime.

So for the results: I started today on 250, and ended up on 490, so thats a really good results for one day in low stakes sngs, I now have nearly 50 buy ins which was my starting step target for my bankroll. I will probably write in this blog less now maybe once every Sunday night or something to give updates on how its going, because everynight may get boring for people to be reading. I am going to keep a diary doe because I really feel this blog has kept me from tilting and made sure I played in my bankroll.

What a weekend, didnt play friday or saturday was out on the juice with my m8s so had a good time, was in another part of England for the night so was pretty boozy. came back to London this today and played some horrifying 45mans, I think I probably played the best I have played all year, but just couldn't quite get the results I needed, I don't mind because although I ended up quite a bit down I ended the session smiling because I got it in good around 80-90% of the time and mainly with a big edge so I felt good about my game and, I had a go at some 9 ways, o I miss them, I was the king of them back in the days, I think I will play a few more sessions again because I enjoyed them and took down a couple which boosted my conifdence as again after the down swing. I did play 1 super turbo 45 man which I really enjoyed I think there is some serious room for making money in them so I may give it a go again soon when I have some more money, and I also played a 6dolla HU shootout which I lost but was really angry with myself for playing because my goals are to not play any HU but it was just because I was waiting for my brother to get ready.

So anyways yeh thats the news for the weekend, the current bankroll situation is: $235 but I am getting $20 dollas of a pal I lent to ages ago so will be 255. Hopefully the next blog will a better success story.

KEEEP ON GRINGING

Played 45man sngs again.15 dollas up since yesterday, want to play on but am tilting and one of my goals is to quit whilst am tilting lol, just went from a 16k chip leader on the bubble to go out in on the bubble, it was rediculas, the guy to my left had 2.3k in chips and got dealt a10,1010,88 on all my light shuvs, then to top it off i have 2k left n shuv with ak n he has a3, he manages to spike it. o well it happens, he isnt going to wake up with all them in the long run so I sit and smile at my play. I wount lie I'm a bit annoyed because of the 18game downswing I had today but 1 win made it break even after, the luck was horrible but you have all been there so I wount complain.

Anyways to sum up the bankroll:
Started at 315 and now am on 330. The graph is looking a bit dodgy but its still going up which is all that matters, it still has to drop 55 dollas due to the ones I am still in but didn't place.

Hopefully we can play a bunch over the weekend.
