A Change to MTTs?

I'm sick of playing these super turbos now. It doesn't help that I've been running bad to mediocre really. Its hard to string together a meaningful winning session that doesn't get wiped out by a string of horrible nasty STD infected whore type bad beats and variance.

What I would say is that I don't regret playing them, and even though I'm not as big of a winner of the other specialists I've still managed to build up a decent roll from it. Especially with the promotions and rakeback.

However I have been thinking that the main problem with them is that I don't seem to get a sense of experience from them. That meaning, what will I learn from playing them continuously for years? The answer is not a lot. The main thing you learn from Super Turbos is push/fold ICM strategy, which is very useful when deep in tournaments short stacked to 20BB stacked. Playing MTTs and Cash I can imagine how the experience can really serve you well, winning or cashing big in a huge fielded guaranteed tournament, or stacking a businessman fish a few times in cash...

Its December tomorrow and the mid iron man promotion will happen. Playing super turbos has allowed me to get Iron 3 times, Gold once, and a Bronze. If you have a smaller bankroll, playing Super Turbos is a good way to start unlocking your bonus. I imagine that once that is unlocked, I will reevaluate and start playing MTTs in mass "officially".
