Work, Whilst in Perth!

It was one of my goals to do a lot more traveling whilst I'm young! But I had also said to myself that a benefit of playing is that I'm able to work whilst I'm on holiday. To be honest, since my breaks are so long anyways, I kinda prefer having a few days where I'd spend half a day grinding or whatever. I'm not a big fan of the super sight seeing crazyness crammed into short space of times, not that I sight see that much anyways.

So between the 20/8 and 10/9 I did manage to play some poker, and strangely enough since my specialty is 9 man SNGs, I made more money playing live cash games then online.

One thing I really did notice when I played these cash games was how much more advanced my thinking was. Its true that there is a lot of variance playing cash compared to SNGs, but its all about value when you hit and start running good. In the casino I absolutely killed it because when I had the nuts I bet out numbers that I thought would keep the donks in, and by the river would have to call a shove because of the pot sizing.

With the amount of insane pre flop raise flatting at the Casino, however big it was (once a guy raise preflop $40 utg with A4 and showed it), it was clear to me that it would be easy to make a living off these games...

Grinding the $16s was extremely frustrating, but I managed to play around 500 games, which is decent considering how busy I was hanging out with friends, going out and checking out the city.

Hopefully the next time I travel I will make more money whilst I'm there. But fuck, never ever gonna see myself having another 24 hours of flying again lol.

Really gonna try and hit the tables hard this month, and hopefully run good!
