This month I have been getting crushed like never before. That is, numbers wise of course! Back in Feb I was getting crushed but I had no idea what I was doing, so this is quite different. Nothing can prepare you for a good ol' fashioned beat down by the Poker Gods!

My friend suggested that it could possibly be that last month I ran super good, and this month I'm running super bad, and the real EV is somewhere in the middle. My graph agrees, and I am therefore in submission to accept this nasty bit of variance.

My total EV (showdowns only) of $16s so far...

However, I hate the idea of just accepting that there's nothing you can do. I mean, yes its true that my hands are not holding up, but dealing with these beats continuously will effect a player and its very hard to keep the same focus and not make mistakes. Assuming that your not playing bad is dangerous, especially when you run bad, so I always want to try and question myself and improve as a player. What's interesting is that my stats this month are exactly the same as the month before!

I'm gonna get another coaching session and keep grinding through it, it just hurts so much more coz I wanted this month to be the "one"! I'm putting in a ton of volume, 100 a day, 3k by the end, and hopefully taking a shot at getting myself on that $16s leaderboard.

On another note I've just hit 45,000 VPPs. Half way there til' Supernova. I've only played on Stars since January this year, and has only grinded micro stake SNGs!

According to Sharkscope, in 2010 I've played;

7942 $6.50 STTs
3395 $15 STTs
1508 $3 STTs
112 280FPP Sats
78 $25 STTs

Anyways, good luck everyone, and a quick congrats to Spain for taking down the World Cup! What a great result for them, they really did deserve it!
