April Is No Fool!

Holla Y'all, and allz that good stuff! Good to hear that Pimpindonks is back and gonna make some more videos, cant wait!

So April so far has been pretty good in the $6s no doubt. The training and coaching has really paid off, and I'm actually starting to think that I'm a winning player now! The horror! What's interesting is that my coach has really shown me the mistakes that the other regs do, which effects their roi a lot. So in saying that, the games filled with regs are more profitable then once thought!

Most of the mistakes that they make are basically not adapting to 200/400+ and not shoving wide enough on the bubble and ITM. A nice tip I got was "If your unsure about shoving pre 100/200/25 then fold it, but if your not sure about shoving 200/400+, then shove it."

Another leak that my coach told me is a controversial one. Its how wide you shove when your in last place. There's been a lot of discussion about how true to SNG wiz you should follow in these spots. But I'm convinced that shoving wider because you are in 4th/4, or 3rd/3 place is essential to maintaining your stack to keep you in contention for winning the SNG. Folding will doom you to a possible ITM finish, but no trophy.

In the prop bet I was the only player to get 70+ 1sts, with 52 2nds and only 60 bubbles. Playing a loose aggressive shove style even in last place has certainly allowed me to win some SNGs that I would otherwise have not if I had followed the Wiz to a tee. Another interesting thing to see from the stats is that I didn't even bubble that much at all. Lack of fear of bubbling makes you bubble less... weird!

This coming weekend I'm gonna go on a mini holiday and chillax in the south. Hopefully there'll be some sun (we lack that stuff called "Sun" in England), coz there's beaches. Looking forward to it, and I'll tone down the playing quite a bit and probably play some MTTs too.

Btw I'm a big snooker fan and I'm loving the world champs right now. Kinda making bad habits of multi-tabling poker,whilst watching multi tables, but in my defense I'm doing that only for early game, but shove/fold end game I'm fully concentrated on those 18 tables! As a fellow [British born] chinese guy I really want Ding to win, but Ronnie is looking on fire!

I have signed up with Rainman Poker and I'm looking forward to what May has to offer. I'm still not sure about whether I'll completely transition to MTTs, but I'm sure I'll spend most of the month trying out the 180's and 45 mans on Stars. We'll see what happens...
