210 Tribute SNGs for 2010...

I know. I'm not hardcore enough to do 2010. My computer isn't fast enough to handle 12+ tables, so I couldn't do it if I tried... I'm not Nick Rainey, you know! Although I hopefully will be, if i keep working hard at my game.

Playing on Stars is so weird for me, I'm so used to playing on Full Tilt. I'm kind fussy and I like the interface on FT, and Stars is kinda tacky with the lobby having too much writing all over the place, and horrible user images on the tables. Also, where is the "pot" and "all in" button? I'm sure after all these years they'd sort something out. Yes, I know people will complain, but it doesn't have to be a button, it could be a tab like in FT. Anyways I've heard that the customer service is next to none on Stars, and I'm assuming they'll be listening to their players needs. Although, from a money perspective having these buttons speed up play, and therefore should give them more hands overall.

Thank god for Table Ninja. Button shortcuts, and automatic table opening is great. Reminds me of the [RIP] Full Tilt Shortcuts before the big update. Having this is great for SNG grinders, and I've just adjusted to make my "all in" size bet be the right click too, so I just use my mouse for everything. Playing 12 tables is easy now. I tried playing 16 but my laptop started lagging up...

So its a new year, a new site, and new bonuses. VPPs, FPPs, Battle of the Planets, Stella Awards, 150% reload bonus, ... so many promotions to get my head round. I have been playing loads so far to get myself off Bronzestar so that I can start taking advantage of the top heavy rewards.

As usual, goals for the month;
- Play an average of 75 Turbo SNGs a day, goal is 2250 by the month.
- Reach Goldstar status.
- Play a mix of $3s and $6s until I redeposit.
- After deposit play a mix of $6s and $16s.
- Get on Battle of Planets leaderboard top 20.

Maybe every now and then I will play the odd tournament, but for now the focus will be getting those points and statuses up. So far I've been doing well, and yesterday had a great day session but a bad night session to kill off the profits.

Should be interesting to see how high I can grind my roll up to before I reload. I originally started by depositing $30 so that I could play a private tournament, of which I cashed in and brought it up to $100. From that $100 its now at $270 from just grinding these micro stakes SNGs.

Hope everyone's had a great New Years celebrations, go 2010!
