WSOP
I am excited to go to the wsop this year! I am going to try to play 10 to 15 tournaments depending on how deep I get in them. I will be there for the second half of the schedule for 3 weeks. Playing that limited number of tournaments obviously anything can happen with variance. I will be dissapointed though if I don't make at least 1 final table!
I may try to satelite into the main event, but I am not sure yet. $10,000 buyin is too big for my current bankroll, so I may take a backer for a percentage of that. For example, when someone puts up $5000 they get 50% of whatever I cash for. I would be willing to put up $5000 of my own money. The main event is probably the tournament with the biggest potential return on investment for professional players. There are so many weak satelite entries I know I have a big edge on the field.
This will be my first wsop. Im not a big fan of live play. Online has tons of advantages that most of you know of. The main reason I am doing it though is to try and win a braclet. That is a life goal of mine now and hopefully I get it done sooner rather than later. I have won many online tournaments so I know what it takes. I would like to eventually get sponsered by one of the big sites as a pro. I hear it is a pretty sweet deal. I think playing big live tournaments is probably the best way to get noticed for that.
A quick update on my new video series "How to crush sngs". I completed 2 more videos on 3 betting and bluffing in sngs. The list of topics will be out soon! This is going to be the most comprehensive sng video series ever done! It is a lot of work for me but will be well worth it. I love it when players tell me they watched my video and improved their game and won a sng or tournament. That is very satisfying for me. So if that is the case for you go ahead and post that, because I love to hear it.
Lastly, I have been playing 98% of my games now on stars. The $75 45 mans on ftp have gotten alot tougher over the past year. My roi in them is much lower than it was 2 or 3 years ago.
I have been crushing the mtt sngs on stars to be honest. So far this month I have made $11,533.39 over 1437 games. This does not include bonuses. I just hit supernova a few days ago. My roi is 12% in the turbo mtt sngs so far this year.
I'm giving you all these stats because I am keeping my screen name private for now. I will probably do a video or two on stars though so my screen name will be released soon. I love the $36 180 mans on stars. I have played 185 so far and have 8 top two finishes. My roi in those games is 102.82% currently.

Budeman, all the regs in the $75 45 mans are the main reason. Those were my main game for a long time. Also, higher rakeback on stars is nice. The main difference is in the structures. Stars has turbos and fulltilts blinds go up slower but take about twice as long.

El Wayneo, if the staker is at the wsop they could buyin with me. Or transfering online would work also. I am only looking to get staked for part of the main event buyin. If you are looking for assurances that I won't run off with the money the best I can do is give you my word. I don't need the money, I could buyin if I wanted too. I want to reduce my risk from a 10k tourney down to a 3k to 5k tourney. I am an instructor on this site. I am not sure what other assurances a backer would want. I staked many players online and I haven't had an issue with anyone being dishonest with me.
I have done that in the past, but don't have any going right now. I did that in a group format, to teach multiple players at the same time. I may do something like that again, but right now I have too much going on with the wsop and new video series.
Hi Mark - what prompted the move to PS? - do you see any differences between the two sites with regards to the MTT SNG's?
