I understand english perfectly but when it's time for wraiting i'm sucks so i'm gonna write this in french and tell Max The OG or hrc99 to translate this to you cause i'm sure one of them speak french.

Mark, what is happening? Just variance? Maybe the group has lost the direction and it's required your presence to remind them the good strategy. I think they are suffering what I described in one of my previous posts:
Well... Let's suppose I'm playing a specific poker style, let's say tight... I have a positive session... I stop, my time is over, I go to bed... the day after I play again, maybe happy for the previous winnings, maybe worried trying not to lose that winnings... anyway... many tables... no face cards... suddenly I find myself raising in early position (at a full table) with AJ... why that?!?!?! Why do I feel it's correct to raise in that spot while I had chosen to play a tight style? Or, supposing I was playing loose, why don't I raise anymore with the same cards I used to raise with? If there was a reason to change that strategy it would be ok, but why to change it without a reason??????
This strategic confusion, this loss of the choosen strategy, this latent alteration of the (winning) playing style is what I suffer more... much more than tilt or donks. The biggest problem is that it's very difficult to recognize it while playing... it appears very clearly only after a losing session, when I coldly analize it.
It appears on the graph as a big oscillation which stops the winning trend... and everytime I realize that I am always making the same error... I haven't found a countermeasure yet. Maybe I should paper all my room and my notebook with the phrase "You want to play tight? So play tight! You want to play loose? So play loose! Remember to play the way you chose to play".
giusunn,
this is just pure variance, u have to remember we are only here 3 weeks, half the group have moved from low stakes to mid-high stakes in a short time span, so the monetary equation is not a factor here, also half of the group never played more than 4-5 tables at a time and in a short time span we are 12-16 tabling, so when u add all the factors together the group has done really well as a whole, rome wasnt built in a day as they say, feel free to ask any questions u seem to know what ur on about..

The point is that I'd like you to destroy all the levels and make a great profit because I want everyone to know that good poker players are good business men... and also because I am a fan of Mark and of his pimpindonkers team
Go on, guys !!!
May I ask what is dexterj911's background ?
I mean no disrespect but is he just running SUPER GOOD or pimpin's MTT/SNG strat and coaching abilities is just SUPER GOOD ?
I check SS & OPR, dexterj911 is showing that he only started playing on Full Tilt October 2009.
Have you played on PokerStars previously, maybe ?
Regards....
P.S. And your crushing the re-buys too. :bang :bang
I'm one of the guys from PimpinDonks training group. (JockMyBluff/Fulltilt) All my stats were during the training. To clarify what a lot of you guys are thinking or want to know about Mark's training. I will give you MY perspective on it. I'm not speaking for everyone else in the training group but for MYSELF. To start off, I'll give you my background. Before the training I was a losing player. I've lost thousands of dollars playing poker on various sites probably around the sum of -$10k or more playing cash/ring games. During that time I never thought I was a horrible player. I actually thought I was an above average poker player. After a few days of PimpinDonks's training, I realized how much I didn't know about poker. He taught us a great deal of how he played/approached the game and how to apply it. My perspective on poker changed and the more I learned about the game, the more I realized how much I didn't know. Before the training happened, I promised myself I would keep an open mind to his training because thinking I was an above average player was one of the biggest mistakes and reason why I've lost so much money. I absorbed so much from PimpinDonks and I felt that I've actually benefited the most from his training. Regardless of the profits I made, I know I've come a long long way from what I was a month ago. Even if I made only 100 bucks or even 1 cent, I know after I leave Michigan, I've left as someone who got a lot better at playing poker and that was the whole goal. You can't control how much money you make in poker but how many games you play and what you can do to become better. A lot of you guys want to see how much we made but that's where your looking at it wrong. I understand a lot of you play poker for money and just money. Then this training isn't for you then. This training was about making you the best poker player you can be and about winning. Not winning money but winning at poker. Figure out the difference. Don't get me wrong, money is part of the equation but not the answer. Honestly, I don't care how much money I make cause I'm confident from what the training had taught me, the money will take care of itself and that I just need to take care of the way I played. So if you all want to know how the training went, in MY eyes it went exactly how I wanted it to and more. I became a better poker player and a winning player. Money is just the reward of that. Not the other way around. I'm end this with a quote from Tom Dwan from an interview because it seems like he's the only credible thing any of you all will listen to if not from me.
"the second you think youâve got nothing to learn is the point where youâre going to lose money."- Tom Dwan aka Durrr
Hi Jock,
Your awareness is admirable. You seem to have improved a lot, and not only about poker.
I envy all of you in this training for your decision to go to michigan and your gut that you had to do it. May be I am wrong, but I think you made a ruff decision to go there and you deserve all those rewards.
Thanks for your post Jock,
I wish you all good luck
Seb
Hey Steve (JockMyBluff)
I understand your perspective and I am glad it works well for you. Before I analyze your comment, I wanted to congratulate you on your past week's performence. I see that since 1 week before my post, you have 161 games, ROI of 64% and profit of $1,100. Those are amazing stats.
So, you stated :
This is a good way to see it from your perspective, but you need to take into consideration PimpinDonk's perspective. He went into this project thinking that he should make some money in the end. Without him, this would not be possible, and I am certain that making money was not the only factor that he considered; nevertheless, here's a quote from him :
This was some time ago and probably still holds some truth. This is a great experience for you, but my advice is not to tilt totally on one side of this experience. Growing as a poker player does count, but money does too, especially for these kind of experiences...
Keep up the good work!
xerip
The point I was getting across from my post was that I underperformed in the training group and that the profits I made did not reflect PimpinDonk's training. Again, I'm speaking for MYSELF and not for the rest of the guys. The other guys have done way better than me in profits. I was just simply trying to clarify to those wondering or questioning about the training and profits we were earning. Like you said, yeah last week I did well and that was because I finally improved and grew as a poker player. My profits last week reflected that and that's why I "tilted" to one side the importance of improving and bettering yourself as a poker player. Also, in my post I stated that money was part of the equation and not the answer. Yes, money is important but from MY experience, to get that money like I did last week, I improved tremendously as a player.
