Day 1 (1,000 DON's) continuous blog (update #3 or #4 )

In my previous blog i said i was going to try and play 1,000 DON's by the end of the month. this blog is to talk about todays games.

First session of 25 just ended.

first one i mede it to 6 handed my 88 lost to AK all in pre, i shoved. lost about every flip after that that i saw, couldn't win too much when i got it in pre and it mattered. my A couldn't beat pp's, their A beat my pp's.

I don't think i made a single bad play at all this first session, just running bad. going to go work out quick and get one more session of 25 in after a shower.

its 4 pm here and about to start my second session now, just waiting for a reg to stop signing up because i don't want to play with them.

2nd session:

lost KK to AA 6 handed and was down to 106 chips, ended up winning a 5 way pot with 3rd pair and then doubling, then stealing, then knocking out the last guy.

lost tooo many by getting knocked out in 6th, just unlucky for the most part though, short stack and having to ship with decent hand and not winning, sometimes shipping atc bvb tho as super shorty when i know i'm getting called, maybe can fold and wait for better, even with 2.5 - 3.5 bbs. hmm, not sure.

i'd be up about 3 buy ins if i just won half the times or so that i won when i was 6 handed.

only got knocked out of two of these when blinds were low, 50-100 blinds lost flush vs flush on 3 spade board and forgot the other one.

lost a lot 6 handed, damn.

was up $40 on that session, so break even on the day.

about to start 3rd session, some reg is signed up for next 20 games, i hate signing up when the list is forever long, going to wait it out a bit.

3rd session:

I shoved too light twice that i noticed and i thought my shoves at the time were marginal, i will tighten those spots up from now on. i also called twice when i thought i was ahead of their range, i was but not sure if it was the right call for a decent amount of my stack late. can't find HH of that now.

Down $40 that session.

4th session starting now, down 40 on day, this is probably last session for the day, just going to try and play everything perfectly, and run good of course

4th session: one bad call, AK off loses to AK off ---that was fun.

i can't win flips, it sucks. or i can't hold when we're on bubble. once again i got a lot of 6th places.

with that all said....... i somehow made money.
i wish i could have posted more HH's but having more than 4 tables running makes it kinda hard to copy paste those histories, not to mention my tableninja takes down the tables right when i leave them. i definitely had some spots that i had a few questions on, maybe next time though.

was up $80 that session, up $40 on the day.

Writing this with updates all day made me play smarter and better and helped me to look at what my leaks are and try and fix them. i will probably do the same thing tomorrow mostly for myself to get in the volume and to try and improve my game.

overall up $40 on the day from DON's, also played a few of the $2 draw HU sngs, made a few dollars from those also. i play those at the beginning of my sessions just to have something to do besides be a robot, and it helps me to see where action is at because i stack all my dons and having action all the time in the HU sng on the side of my stack makes it easy on me.
