thats not unlucky. flat calling a raise pre with A7 is bad. u donked the flop and he redrew on u. ur a MASSIVE dog pre flop u shudve folded the raise

Yes this isn't at all standard... I see and often experience much worse every day playing poker, and if this one off case has upset you then it really is evidence in itself of how little volume you play and how little you understand about the game.

First off, A7 should be a raise from the SB, not a call. If he reraises you, then you fold. In this case you complete and he raises; you're out of position with a weak hand and should also probably fold.

You luck out on the flop. From an earlier post of yours, if the flop had been As 6s 5c i'm confident that you'dve been unable to fold it and would thus have lost your whole stack on this hand anyway. As it is you caught two pair and still got outdone on the river. It happens, and as ive said ive seen much, much worse.
