2010 so far
2010 has been a brilliant year for me. I’m at that stage where my poker earnings are now enough that they can support me through my time at university. On average I've been earning £1000 a month, which mean I've been able to pay off a few existing bills as well.
I'm now well established at the $15 9 mans, playing 20 tables at once. This is by far my most profitable game on Pokerstars. At the same time it’s frustrating because I simply don't put enough hours into the game I’m good at. This needs to change and is one of my goals for the latter of 2010.
I am currently on my summer break so the aim has been to put a serious grind in and earn some extra money from poker over the summer. I have been lazy so far and this hasn't been achieved. My goal for August, whilst I’m still on my summer break, is to try and treat poker as a full time job and put about 35-40 hours a week in at the games I’m good at. Also avoiding playing any hyper turbos. Whilst I don’t notice it in the short term, the long term hyper turbos are making a dent on my overall profit; this can easily be avoided by cutting them out.

Hyper turbos are have more variance, but still beatable (lower roi) and the rakeback you get is worth it. Look at Jorj95, the guy's a leg and mainly grinds $85 6 max hypers, which is why he's got the record for most number of FPPs, I think its 4 million?
