Well Happy New Year one and all . . .

Out with old and in with the new, isn't that what this time of year is associated with? Well I'm seriously consider moving away from PKR, having served an entire years ban from the site's forum, I wrote a nice e-mail to support asking them to reconsider the position, and received a very polite but firm no.

I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't exclude me from some events and promotions which my rake is clearly contributing to etc..

Anyone suggest a good home where I can find some equally soft opponents?

Apologies, my blogging enthusiasm ran out of steam in April, that and I perhaps lost a little of my enthusiasm for the game too. As a result of which I'm probably posting my worst annual result since taking up online poker 7 years ago, I think I'm making around 1k on the year, with a little over a week left to change that lol.

However, I feel I'm beginning to get my game together and hopefully I'll have some fireworks to write about soon, and am making a new years resolution to write some more of this sh*t on a regular basis.

A pretty uneventful month in all honesty, my volume of play has been pretty low but I did recover the small down turn suffered towards the end of February, finishing march with a BR of $1,050.

Highlights for March were two second place finishes in the Omaha Open and a win in the oma-hoe-down (PLO8 MTT). Apart from these I picked up some money "bum" hunting the STT heads up tables where I have 3 or 4 soft targets, but my usually safe source of income, the 6 seat omaha STT's continue to frustrate me so I am trying to leave them alone as much as possible lol.

Further to my early Feb Update, here's my early March year so far update. . . .

The month of February has turned out to be quite fruitful for me, and I have managed to move away from the sit and go tables largely, following a second in PKR's Omaha open early in February. Which I managed to follow up with a Win in the Hi/lo Oma-hoe-down and then two wins in the Omaha Open in the space of 4 Days

Having started the year with $25 on my PKR account and determined not to top up I am glad to report this hasn't happened and as at today my PKR account balance has increased to $170. Now I'd like to pretend that this was as a result of good BR management, grinding low value stts and some very steady results, but this wouldn't be entirely accurate lol.

Not sure where this is going, I noticed another PKR player has started a blogg so I thought I'd try putting pen to paper or should that be finger to keys!

I had a pretty miserable end to 2010, having played pretty steadily all year I went on slight tilt, after being banned from PKR's forum (for life) after a fairly innocuous post questioning the tournament cancellation policy, after 2 events I had entered were cancelled due to insufficient runners. Their loss in my opinion, if they want to lose the voice of one of the top omaha mtt/stt players on the site then so be it.
