Today's results
Been thinking this blog might just be a great tool to stay honest about my results. It's also a great place to set some goals.
Here's one: $1000 in $30 SNGS earned by January 1st 2010. I think this is very achievable, considering my current record in these games. I'll set this easier goal now and if I reach it I'll set another.
On another note, I don't have a rakeback service. Does anyone know of a method to get it added to an existing FTP account? Any help would be much appreciated.
And now some tv and sleep. Tomorrow will likely be a day off to celebrate the things I'm thankful for. This will be my first Thanksgiving as a vegetarian so it will be quite interesting without Turkey...guess I'll just be thinking of a turkey running free somewhere because of me (which unfortunatly is not the reality, but that's just how I like to think of it).
Then off to work and more games on Friday. Good luck at the SNGs everyone!

You got it. I like to set goals in number of games played. Over the course of so many games, you can eventually determine your hourly earn rate or your per game earn rate.
Also, there's tons of books and articles on sngs you can read to improve your game. Depends on whether you are playing for fun/hobby or for a living how much time you want to put into it.

That's a good looking start to your graph. As far as your goal, it may not be a good idea to set goals in monetary terms.
You can only control how you play and how much you play. Over the course of thousands of sngs, one can easily have downswings over the course of a few hundred games,
I actually played 43 of the $30 sngs on FT in the last two days, and came out $447 in the red. I won't even get into how badly I ran, but these swings are real.
