challenge continues

Grinding micro stakes SnGs is such a race to beat the rake. Week started promisingly but then i went on a small breakeven/minor downswing. Later half of the week made up my losses and im back to where i started. I intend to put in about double the volume this week along with writing a 3000 word essay on equity and trusts for my law degree. If i can crack $100 profit next week i can get rolling with the $6 sngs. Ive chosen to skip the $3 as i seem to run unexplicably bad and the rake is crazy. My most priftable level is $6 so im looking forward to a chance to play these levels. Some would play them with my roll but as i never want to deposit im a bit risk averse, this dosent show in my game as i play at a stake where i would comfortably go all in whenever. The volume is obviously going to come 2nd to my essay but i find the more i need to do the more that i do. Silverstar would be a bonus too so i can actually use my FPP for something. Joe Cada 100k freeroll on sun so maybe a deep run in that run could boost my roll to the $6 and if im real lucky maybe even the $10. (for $10 i would want around $750 in my account though) wish me luck!

what games are you playing? the rake is so beatable with all the super bad players as long as you find a game you like and are good at and are willing to learn and get better at that game.

i play the $1.75 18 players and $1.10 45 mans. rake for the $1.10 is fine bit steep for the $1.75. was playing 90 mans too but i didnt like the structure so much bit too slow

I'm not so sure the rake isnt going to eat you alive in the micros. 750$ is waaaay more than you need for 10$ games.

I would say $550 is still more than enough, but its never a bad idea to have a super roll so you never have to even think about downswings. good luck..
