Experimental playing early in the morning

Tagged:

Since 1st of September my wife has come back to her job, so I can't play anymore at my usual schedule (from 10.00 pm to 1.00 am) because, while she does at evening/night what she used to do at morning, I have to take care of our daughter.
So I have decided to make this experiment: for this month I'll put the alarm on 4.00 am and wake up so early to play for 3 hours before going to work.
This is the only schedule I can follow right now and I think that, once I'll get the habit, playing early in the morning will be better than playing late at night, tired after the whole day.
This means, anyway, that I can't play anymore on an Italian poker room (they all are virtually empty in those hours), so I'll come back to my original and favourite poker room: Full Tilt Poker.
I played on it when I first discovered Texas Hold'em and I have lost about 500 € there.
So, the goals of my experiment are:

  1. to play from 4.00 am to 7.00 am
  2. to reach the break even point on Full Tilt

Let's see if I reach both goals within this month.

P.S.: the graph below takes into account sngs only and shows a -400$ profit, but the correct amount is -663$ (taking into account every tourney played).
Fortunately, on Pokerstars.it, my profit is +3907$ (+5800$ including bonus/rakeback).

RakeBack at PokerStars?

Pokerstars.it, not Pokerstars.com. The former is a subset of the latter and it's only for Italians (our laws are so restrictive). Rakeback/bonus page for sngs is this: http://www.pokerstars.it/poker/promotions/battle/?utm_id=6

MadCityAds: PStars VIP Program is their form of RB...it doesn't look that bad either. A low limit SNG grinder can easily acheive Platinum VIP in their 1st month of playing, and that's equivalent to 20%RB. And if ya keep grinding it shouldn't be long(5-6 months) to get to the first Supernova VIP level(28%RB). You can buy cash bonuses now too. And sometimes(like right now) they run deals where you can just buy a cash credit straight up...no clearing necessary.

Yeah, DudleyDawson is perfectly right, that program applies to PokerStars.it too. Moreover, it has also several vip leaderboards and weekly and monthly vip freerolls.
I am just "platinum star" (not Supernova) and one third of my earnings comes from the vip program, so I consider it a very profitable rakeback system.

Unfortunately, my experiment on Full Tilt is not going well so far. I am running really bad and after a whole week I am losing more than 150 dollars. Anyway I'll keep playing hoping to finally catch a good rush.

Experiment ABORTED !!! Because of some "family commitments" I have played in the whole September less tourneys than I used to play in just 2 days Sad
I have to find a way to re-organize my time, because this way I can't make any serious grinding at all Crying

I reached the goal n. 2 (to reach the break even point on Full Tilt)
